Reciban todos un fuerte abrazo de mi parte, ha sido un buen tiempo sin participar del concurso y ya extrañaba a mi querida comunidad de collages, así que me emocione mucho hoy que al entrar a revisar aun estaba en curso el concurso de esta semana, ha sido tanto tiempo sin hacerlo que me sentía algo indecisa sobre que debería hacer, pero poco a poco fueron brotando algunas ideas hasta que resulto el collage que les muestro el día de hoy, espero se animen a ver este proceso.

It's been a while since I last participated in the contest, and I was already missing my beloved collage community, so I was very excited today when I logged in and saw that this week's contest was still underway. It's been so long since I last participated that I felt a little indecisive about what to do, but little by little, some ideas started to pop up until I ended up with the collage I'm showing you today. I hope you'll enjoy seeing this process.

En un primer momento tenia muchas imágenes de la galería en desorden sobre la imagen, pero conserve solo las dos que ven en la primera imagen, fue entonces que se me ocurrió hacer la escultura semi enterrada de una diosa antigua, con varios brazos donde se disponían las mas exquisitas ofrendas que los habitantes del planeta podían ofrecer, pero ahora abandonada solo acumulan polvo y mas polvo, para las manos de la diosa pensaba usar imágenes de la galería, pero decidí mejor fotografiar mis propias manos, mis uñas largas darían un toque mas femenino a la diosa.

At first, I had many images from the gallery scattered across the image, but I kept only the two you see in the first image. It was then that I came up with the idea of making a semi-buried sculpture of an ancient goddess, with several arms on which were placed the most exquisite offerings that the inhabitants of the planet could offer. But now, abandoned, they only accumulate dust and more dust. For the goddess's hands, I thought about using images from the gallery, but I decided it would be better to photograph my own hands. My long nails would give the goddess a more feminine touch.

Una vez ubicado cada brazo en su lugar pinte sobre ellos para que parecieran parte de la escultura, y luego dibuje grietas en algunas partes para reflejar el deterioro que ha sufrido de tantos años expuesta a los elementos, pero esta no es solamente una diosa benevolente y de abundancia, también ha cosechado rencor en todos los años en la desidia y ahora solo quiere acabar con el planeta que una vez beneficio, así que sus ultimas fuerzas invoca las fuerzas de la naturaleza y el espacio para destruirlo.

Once each arm is in place, paint over them so they look like part of the sculpture, and then draw cracks in some parts to reflect the deterioration it has suffered from so many years exposed to the elements. But this is not only a benevolent goddess of abundance; she has also harbored resentment throughout the years of neglect, and now she only wants to destroy the planet she once benefited. so with her last ounce of strength, she invokes the forces of nature and space to destroy it.

Luego añadir algo de brillo, pero sentí que algo mas faltaba así que opte por alargar la imagen original y añadir un fondo espacial producto de la invocación de la diosa y que dan cuenta de la inminente destrucción que de avecina, mientras la diosa llora lagrimas sagradas ante tanta desolación.

Then I added some sparkle, but I felt that something else was missing, so I decided to enlarge the original image and add a space background created by the goddess's invocation, reflecting the imminent destruction that lies ahead, while the goddess cries sacred tears in the face of such desolation.
