Today we enjoy a new coffee, Colombian and mocha flavored

Hello friends, happy Thursday to all. I hope your week is going as expected. Greetings from Yeli Marín, from the city of Maturín, in the state of Monagas, Venezuela.
Today we are in search of new flavors, and this time we tasted a coffee brought to us by a classmate.
We were talking about different brands of coffee and how we liked it, and also how we should order it in English. Remember that my language is Spanish.

And talking about one thing and the other, she told us that there was a Colombian brand of coffee that came flavored. I had not tried it and, to tell the truth, chocolate flavored coffee is something that fascinates me. We had agreed on this on Saturday and finally she brought this coffee. I don't know about Colombian brands of coffees, since I usually prioritize in my purchases what is made in Venezuela, but this time I wanted to see how it tasted.

The coffee that my companion brought comes in a 120 GR presentation and its packaging is attractive at the time of purchase. We poured it into a container that is intended to store the coffee for later uses, since we were not going to make it whole. When you uncover it you can smell the chocolate aroma, of course, you must have a very sensitive sense of smell. I noticed it, but it did not leave the place impregnated, as in other occasions it happens with coffee ☕.

We have made it a habit in our English classes to take about half an hour to take a break and make coffee, because the classroom, despite being large, is cold and in the middle of the morning, between so many verbs, we get a little sleepy and the coffee makes us active again. We also use this break to stretch our legs, socialize with other classmates and enjoy a snack.

We always bring juices, sodas and coffee, but because of the weather, the priority is always to have hot coffee. I do not offer to prepare it because here in my house I make it in a pot and my strainer, I hardly use my coffee pot because somehow here I already have my measure and at the moment of heating the water I add the sugar so that it fades, while at the university, many people drink coffee without sugar, so adding sugar and stirring ends up cooling my coffee and I do not like it.

Here at the university we have a friend who is in charge of preparing the coffee. At break time, the first thing she does is get up looking for the coffee pot and she already knows what she has to do.

At this point we all waited for her to tell us that she was ready to serve us. The taste of the coffee, let's say I was not impressed, it does taste good, but I did not perceive the chocolate flavor as I wanted.

In my mind I was expecting a taste like Nescafé's mokashino and the truth is that it was not. So yes I would buy it, but not expecting a Nescafe, it is fine for people who just want a delicate flavor.
This coffee also comes with a cinnamon flavor. I also tasted it and you can feel the cinnamon flavor very subtle and the truth is that it is very rich.

It is always good to enjoy a good coffee, to activate us, to warm us up and to keep learning, which is the purpose of coming to language classes. This is a path that has just begun. I am about to finish this basic level and the truth is that I have loved the experience and I will always remember it having coffee with my classmates and with the conviction that there will always be reasons and time to continue learning.
