Youtube: The Application That Makes My Life Easier

Technological applications have existed since the invention of computers and mobile devices. In fact, it is these apps that makes our devices useful and far less boring for us. What's more interesting is the fact that, as the years go by, more and more applications are launched. From education and finance to fitness and health, to social interaction, there is hardly any field where you will not find an app designed to solve a problem.
Personally, I switch between many applications because I find a lot of them very useful. However, I can confidently say that one application stands out as the most useful, entertaining, and educative for me, and that app is YouTube.
As we all know, YouTube is often referred to as a place where we can gain a wide variety of knowledge. Every day, millions of people use YouTube for one purpose or the other, and this accounts for the global traffic it records and the high ranking on search engines.

I remember discovering Youtube when I got the opportunity to own my first mobile phone. While setting up my Gmail account, I noticed its red icon beside other Google applications. As a curious young person, I searched online to understand what the app was used for, and Google explained it in simple terms. That explanation was what led me to explore the ends of the app.
When I signed in, the first thing I saw was my favorite music video at the time. I was genuinely excited because it felt like a perfect alternative to watching music videos on television, which had the limitation of poor power supply. I pressed play on the video, watched it to the end, and immediately moved on to another. From that day, YouTube became one of my go to apps for music videos.
Over time, the app has evolved to cater to different age group and interests. Today, producers upload full length movies in clear HD quality, making it possible to watch movies without worrying about poor visuals. I also watch news clips, historical content presented in video form, and sports recaps. All of these makes YouTube one of the most exciting and versatile applications in the world.
However, the most important way I use YouTube is for learning. Whenever I am taking a technical course and I struggle to understand the materials available to me, YouTube becomes my first point of reference. Once I input the right search keywords, I gain access to detailed explanations from experienced tutors, along with links to beginner friendly resources in the video descriptions. All of these are available for free and we all know that very few apps offer this level of value at no cost.

Beyond technical learning, I also use YouTube to learn everyday skills, from laying a bed properly to using my cutleries correctly. The platform is filled with DIY content, so whenever I want to learn something new like baking bread or repurposing an old dress, YouTube provides immediate solutions while satisfying my curiosity.
In essence, YouTube feels like a near best friend I can ask almost anything. As long as the answer exists in video form, I'm rest assured that I will always find it there. Youtube entertains me every day, gives me access to educational and historical content, keeps me updated on global news, sports, fashion and beauty trends, all without asking me to pay a dime. Now, would I recommend this app to anyone else? ABSOLUTELY YES!
I would recommend YouTube to everyone, including students, civil servants, content creators, and even parents who want their toddlers to learn new words with visual support. I'm sure that they will not regret the time they would invest on the app.
