Good night or good morning everyone, hope u all doing great.

I made this drawing a little late because I was busy with a couple of things that took up a few days πŸ˜… but here it is , my creation for the "Deal" day of the #Zingtober event!

While I was thinking about this prompt, stuff like PokΓ©mon, Naruto, and other anime came to mind hmmm yes those special bonds between characters and their creatures. It’s not just a deal, it’s more like a connection built on trust and respect. That’s what I wanted to show here , the bond between the light healer and the little creature beside her.

For this occasion, I have once again selected the light healer! I have realized that I think she is the one I have drawn the most out of all the characters, and I have also selected Xolo, this cute creature that, well, I don't have much experience with animals.

Sooo the deal between the Light Healer and the little creature. A genuine bond where they complement and strengthen each other. She offers her energy, and the creature gives its loyalty.

I did this drawing in Photoshop, and I wanted to try something a little different this time. Instead of working with strong black...I went with grayscale, to create a softer, more balanced vibe. Gray has something special

I kept the character references close the whole time so I could keep their proportions and expressions consistent. It helped me balance how they interacted in the scene and made sure their connection looked natural.

I started the drawing by working from the darker grays first and then gradually moved to lighter tones. It just felt like a more natural way to build up the depth and contrast in the piece. Working that way helped me define the shapes better before adding the softer details and highlights.

Honestly, there were moments when I wasn’t sure if it would turn out like I imagined. But that’s also part of the deal between an artist and their art. Sometimes you just have to trust it, let go a little, and let the piece guide you. But as I progressed with the drawing, I think it was going well hahaah

In the end, the drawing felt balanced hmmmm not too bright or too dark. It turned out close to what I had in mind, and I’m happy with how it came together. But I still find creatures difficult, hahah.

Thank you very much for taking the time to view my work.

Oh, and one more thing before I wrap up...

A while ago I was looking for this little shark you see down here 🦈. It’s really special to me. I won it a long time ago here, n it was done by a person many years ago but also I consider a GREAT GREAT GREAT FRIEND now n who does amazing work , very talentedπŸ€—.

I thought I had lost it , I was very sad… but noooo! I got it back! Yes ! He found n sent it to me again, and I’m so happy to have it with me once more.
So from now on, this shark will be keeping me company πŸ’™

Now yes! See you next time.
