My humble opinion

I confess that it is one of those books that I had trouble getting hooked in the first pages because the end of the first book gives us a determined Lily and at the beginning of this one presents us with a very doubtful one, so much that made me be a little annoyed with the author because my expectations were high but once you continue it becomes very difficult to stop reading it because it immerses us in a story that alternates between the points of view of Lily and Atlas (something that fascinates me), leaving in the background her relationship with Ryle, giving us more about Atlas' past.

Definitely Collen has a unique ability to make you live every emotion, I loved the development of the character of Atlas and the healthy way he loves Lily, would I recommend it? Of course I would, because as in the first book it is not only a love story or drama but it is shocking the way he talks about toxic relationships and how essential it is to make our own decisions, also leaves us reflecting on second chances, healing wounds, overcoming and personal growth, learning to leave behind what hurts us and that love deserves to be lived without any fear.

Mi humilde opinión

Les confieso que es uno de esos libros que me ha costado engancharme en las primeras páginas ya que el final del primer libro nos regala a una Lily determinada y al comienzo de este nos presenta una muy dudosa, tanto que me hizo estar un poco molesta con la autora porque mis expectativas eran altas pero una vez que continuas se te hace muy difícil dejar de leerlo porque nos sumerge en una historia que alterna entre los puntos de vista de Lily y Atlas (algo que me fascina), dejando en un segundo plano su relación con Ryle, regalándonos más sobre el pasado de Atlas.

Definitivamente Collen tiene una capacidad única de hacerte vivir cada emoción, me encantó el desarrollo del personaje de Atlas y la manera tan sana en que ama a Lily, ¿lo recomendaría? claro que sí ya que como en el primer libro no es solo una historia de amor o drama sino que es impactante la manera en que habla sobre las relaciones tóxicas y lo esencial que es tomar nuestras propias decisiones, además nos deja reflexionando sobre las segundas oportunidades, sanar heridas, superación y crecimiento personal, aprender a dejar atrás lo que nos lastime y sobre que el amor merece ser vivido sin ningún temor.
