A weekend painted in shades of gray

Good evening, my dear Hivers!
How have they been?
I want to apologize in advance for being a little more absent (and you ask: "But was he ever there?") Ahahah
But in fact the vicissitudes of both work and my free time occupation (sports manager) don't bother me have allowed you to be as active as you would like and as you should!
There is no better time than the present, it doesn't matter if we've had better and now we don't have it, or if we want much more and we still haven't achieved it. Only the present can be shaped, either by our will or by our action in changing what we want to change. What cannot be changed, we just have to accept and try to see it as "glass half full".
Today I want to share with you some photos that I managed to take last weekend, when I was at a lunch with friends, on the south bank of the Tagus river. Life there seems to pass more slowly, and that people, despite having less substantial incomes, end up making the best use of the time and conditions that are presented to them.
A mill, now converted into not only a decorative element, but also an integral part of the surrounding landscape that is being recovered and returned as a walking area for the population.
Sometimes it feels good to discover more of what surrounds us. We always end up discovering and finding points of interest that we would never have missed being so close to us and completely free.
The end of the day was perfect, as I even had a birthday dinner at a friend's house, which ended up bringing together friends I hadn't seen since the days before the pandemic!
We promised not to let so much time go by without getting together, and a date was already scheduled at a friend's house that I saw very few times during these three crazy years. It will be good to resume the contacts and bonds of friendship that, more than their obvious importance, do so much good for our spirit.

I hope to be able to publish something else this week.
