GTA: Liberty City Stories (video game on Android) (2025.07.17)

Currently this game is available on the Google Play Store to try it out for free for 30 minutes.

Yesterday (on 2025.07.16) I downloaded and tried this game out for the first time.

I tried it on my Motorola Moto G22 (Android 12) (2022) smartphone.

The game itself is running properly on this smartphone.

Nowadays I very rarely play video games.

I downloaded and I tried this game, because it reminded me mostly of GTA 3, which I played a lot (and the GTA Vice City too) as a child in a PC club in Budapest, Hungary in/around 2003.

So partially this is a childhood nostalgia for me. And probably for many other people too.

The design of this game reminds me mostly of GTA 3, and the icons reminds me of GTA San Andreas.

This game (at least on Android) is saving the progress to the cloud, but the load function is only available if you unlock the full game.

Today (on 2025.07.17) I tried to load the autosave from cloud, and the game wrote that "Cloud saves unavailable during trial. Cloud saves become available as soon as you unlock the full game".

So if you close the game during the free trial of 30 minutes, and if you open it later, then you have to restart the game from its beginning, except if you buy the game.

Nowadays I do not have the time, nor the mood to play video games, so I will not buy this game.

I tried this game only for a very short time.
