🥇 The last floating fortress: USS Cairo in Vicksburg by @koenau

An endless number of frighteningly long rows of gravestones stretch across a green meadow. One looks like another, each commemorates a person who lost his life 160 years ago in the American Civil War. It is idyllic here on the Mississippi, where the Vicksburg National Military Park offers fascinating insights into American history ant the legendary Ironclad USS Cairo.

🥈 A Fort, a Fever, and a Tribal Tale: My Trek to Ratangad fort by @himalayanwomb

This post is a little old, it was probably in 2018 when I went to visit Akolemaz District located in Maharashtra state of India. This was the time when I was so lost in travelling alone that I forgot everything and reached among the tribals. Due to the love I received from the tribal community, I stayed at a place called Bhandarra for 3 months. It was during that time that I did this trek in which I reached the top of a 400-year-old fort.

🥉 Mesmerizing Taksim Trip - Büyüleyici Taksim Gezisi [EN-TR] by @incublus

I don't have the opportunity to explore Istanbul much because I work a lot, so I went out at noon and first took the bus to Kadıköy beach. I guess everyone who has been to Istanbul even once before has seen Kadıköy beach, because Kadıköy is a very ideal place for people to meet. There are so many cafes where you can sit and on top of that there are benches where you can sit on the waterfront.
