My Day: 🌞Sun's Out, Slides Out, Operation Clean Inflatable 🫧

It's a gorgeous sunny day ☀️ here in my corner of the world..
The kind of day where the sunshine feels like a happy, warm blanket..,

It was a good day to get some serious cleaning done..
We have a big kids' party coming up this week and the star of the show needs to be sparkling clean: our inflatable slide!
Yes, the big, bouncy, super-fun water slide that guarantees endless giggles and, well, a whole lot of dirt from past adventures.. 😂

Making the Bounce House Sparkle ✨

Cleaning this thing is a process,, it’s not exactly like wiping down a kitchen counter..
But with a little effort and this perfect sunny weather,, we got it done..

First, we rolled out a huge wide tarp on the grass..
This acts like a giant, clean workspace and keeps the bottom of the slide from getting muddy as we clean the top..

Next up, the magic moment:,,, inflation!!

We plugged in the blower and watched the big pile of vinyl spring to life..
It’s so much easier to clean when it’s fully pumped up and standing tall,,
you can see all the spots you need to scrub..

Then came the scrubbing.. 🧽

We poured a light mix of bleach water over the whole slide to get rid of any old stains and those tiny, unseen germs.. 😂

Then, we added soap and started the hard work of scrubbing the dust and dirt away.. 🧼
My arms are feeling it now, but seeing the bright colors come back is super satisfying..

It looked so clean and fresh, like a giant, colorful bath toy..

Finally, we let the sun do its job..

Nothing beats natural heat for getting something big and heavy-duty like this completely dry..

We left it inflated and bathing in the glorious sunshine to make sure every single part,, inside and out,, was dry and ready for the week's party madness...

It's a lot of work, but totally worth it to see the kids' faces when they get to zoom down a perfectly clean slide..
Now, time for a big glass of cold water.. 🤣
