Garden Update: My Orchids Are Cheering but My Aglaonemas Are Chewed ππ©

Hello Hivers!!
I'm back with a little peek into my happy and sometimes challenging little green space..
My garden is full of life right now and I wanted to share the ups and downs..
The Mystery of the Munchies!!
You know how it is,, you're so proud of a plant and then something happens..
My beautiful Chinese Evergreens (Aglaonema), the ones with the amazing pink and green patterns (like the pink-splashed one in the photos), are definitely growing well.. Theyβre getting bigger and brighter, which is super exciting.. π

But, oh boy, the crawlies π©π
A lot of the leaves have big, bumpy holes where something has taken a bite..
I've searched and searched,, turning over every leaf,, but I haven't seen a single culprit.. Itβs a total mystery..
I'm guessing some sneaky caterpillar or snail is having a feast at night..
It's a little frustrating but that's just part of gardening, right?
You win some, you lose some π
Orchid Explosion ππ
On a much happier note, my orchids are putting on a real show,,
They have way more flowers now than before and the colors are just popping.. π

I have some lovely purple-spotted ones (likely Cattleya or a similar hybrid) climbing on a pole that look so elegant and bright.

And those clusters of smaller, pale pink-to-lavender flowers (like Dendrobiums or similar) are blooming like crazy,, it looks like a cloud of tiny ballerinas dancing in the breeze π

I also love the bright yellow ones that shine like little tropical jewels..
The last time I shared it here,, there was only one fully bloomed flower and a few buds.. but now, four or more are showing off their beauty every strand..
The garden just feels instantly more special when you walk past a burst of orchid flowers.. It makes all the effort worth it π
Patience is a Gardener's Virtue (Especially with Vandas)
Now, for the plants that are keeping me humble: my Vanda orchids..
They have those cool, rope-like roots hanging all over and they look healthy and strong, but they are still not showing any signs of growing flowers..

Vandas are known for being a bit picky..
They need just the right amount of sun, water and air to decide itβs time to bloom..
I keep looking at them every day, hoping for a tiny spike but for now, they are just giving me beautiful green leaves..
Guess I'll just keep being patient and pretending I'm not checking on them every morning π
I also have a few other plants bringing lovely colors and textures..
My green, leafy plant with the yellowing bottom leaves looks healthy overall,, just need to make sure I'm giving it what it needs..

And how about those leaves with the bright pink and green arrows (likely a Syngonium or similar)? They add such a fun splash of color even when nothing is blooming..

Itβs a jungle out here, full of good surprises and little battles..
Itβs relaxing, exciting and sometimes a little bit of a headache, but I wouldn't trade it for anything..
Thanks for stopping by my garden corner.. till my next garden update..
