Hi HODLers, Hiveans and Lions,

Inflation is still running somewhat hot in the US. The latest print was 2.7% in June 2025 which is an increase compared to the previous month.

Energy prices were a big part of this month over month increase whereas the rest of the items (mostly Food and Shelter) were still increasing but at moderating rates.

Why is inflation important?

Well, if inflation remains hot, the FED made it clear that it will not be accomodative and therefore will do everything it can to NOT cut rates.

As we know, when interest rates are cut, asset prices usually rise.

Hopefully, we continue to see progress on the inflation front.
