When the 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck Bogo City, it left more than just physical damage—it disrupted lives, homes, and the peace of our own community. As CRMC students, many of us felt the impact firsthand. But in the midst of fear and uncertainty, we also witnessed something powerful: the spirit of bayanihan rising stronger than ever.

Different CRMC organizations came together, launching donation drives and relief efforts—not just for the people of Bogo, but also for our fellow students who were affected. It wasn’t just about handing out goods—it was about making sure no one felt alone during this time.

The unity we saw went beyond departments or titles. Students, faculty, staff, and local partners extended help with open hearts. Donations of food, water, clothes, hygiene kits, and school essentials poured in—each item carrying the message: “We’re with you.”

What stood out was the genuine hospitality shown, even by those who were also affected. Those who had little still chose to give. And those receiving help welcomed others with gratitude, grace, and even smiles—proof that kindness thrives even in hardship.

This is the essence of bayanihan: lifting each other up, sharing what we have, and standing together as one family—as one CRMC community.

To every organization, volunteer, and supporter—daghang salamat. You reminded us that while the ground may shake, our unity never will.

We are still open for donations — monetary and non-monetary.
