No More Camping โ๐๏ธ plus a โ๏ธ to The Netherlands ...

Yesterday morning, a week and a half after ( to over-Winter ), @clareartista and I decided that it was about time to pack up our tent.
Believe it or not but for about 3 months, we have spent our nights in this 3x3 meter space, planted underneath an amazing old walnut tree.
In fact, ever since we installed it there, mere hours after having signed the contract for our plot of land in Molise, Italy, late July, this has been our 'bed room' ( much to the disbelief of most people we talk to ).
We had to pick the right moment to take down our tent and have been blessed with mostly dry weather, so far. Even though it has been Autumn for a while now.

After...

look closely and you will spot Clare in the background, just in front of the only building on our land.
FYI: Packing up a tent when it's wet is not recommended, unless you want it to turn moldy. Fortunately, we managed to roll it up and put it in its bag in a sufficiently dry state. โ
We are considering to find another spot for it on our land, likely a more sheltered and less visible area ( surrounded by trees ), in the near future.
But for now, our rental house will be the place where we plan to spend the majority of our nights.
Either until Spring or, possibly, when the building on our land has a habitable bed room ( we are working on slowly transforming one of the current cantine that previously served as a stable/ wine cellar )

Yesterday, Clare and I returned to (our ot)her house in Campania. And then, this morning, after a fun night, we drove to the nearest train station, as I am about to board a plane, later this afternoon, to The Netherlands. I haven't visit my motherland for almost 14 months. In fact, ever since Clare and I got together, early September last year.
This is gonna be our first time apart. Our record so far is 8 hours ( haha! ) let's see how one week of separation is going to feel.
No matter how much we love to be together, we are sensible adults and were both very much used to our independence/ own space, until we met, so we have no doubt that this is gonna be a good thing.
Love you Clare! See you in a week's time! ๐
Now let me end this with two more pics of two of the hippest/best-dressed people in Molise...
