A cliché gift for a coffee lover, plus socks

Today was my friend Vi's birthday, a person with whom I have already shared many coffees....
She is a faithful coffee lover and when choosing a gift for her the first thing I thought of was something that could please her and be useful to her at the same time. Don't think this elementary thought goes through every mind, I'm glad my mind is not so lazy in this regard.
What has been lazy is my bank account, with the low budget I currently have, compared to the expenses that have arisen, I did not allocate much money for my friend Vi's gift.
What could I give on a low budget to a special coffee-loving friend?
Sure!
A very cliché and very simple gift that doesn't require a lot of money.
A new mug, of course.
I went to a store where they sell a variety of mugs of all sizes, many designs and prints, I decided to enter the store just when the battery of my phone was about to run out so I could not take pictures, something that was partly positive because I focused my attention on choosing the mug.
I quickly discarded a good part of the mugs, too big or with outrageous designs that I didn't think my friend Vi would like, she is simple and discreet, and always appreciates the details that reflect her calm and authentic personality.
I looked around a lot and it was getting complicated to find the right mug for her gift, some of them I liked but not for her, they were a bit cheesy, with hearts, flowers or things like that, it's not her style.
Until a slim, tall mug with a sleek handle and inspirational fractal print clicked with me and I felt it would click with her too. That was the one.
I added some candy to the mug, and I don’t know how or why I ended up in a sock store and fell in love with some—very simple like her, but very pretty. I paid for them and thought I had my gift complete, although it seems that combining a coffee and infusion mug with some socks as a gift doesn’t quite match.
Finally, after thinking if I should include the socks to the gift or not, because I confess I also considered leaving them for me 😏, I gave her the complete gift and she did like it, the socks she put them on almost immediately and the mug she kept it in her bag, I felt she liked it, her expression was sincere, besides who wouldn't like such a nice mug. Well, I think it's pretty.
I also whipped up and baked a pumpkin pie for her, perfect for her afternoon snacks with lattes, at least for a couple of days.
Well, I am calm on my part, I feel I was able to give simple but special and useful details to my friend Vi on her birthday.
Coffee and cute socks for me are a good choice for relaxing at home when it's cold, a scene similar to the following photo I imagined when I decided to add the socks to my friend Vi's gift 😅
Look how cute my kitty and flower socks 😊.
Thank you for joining me 😉
