A closeup during the Slot Art Festival in Poland
Q3 is progressing well so far with many events planned for the remainder of it as well as up to the end of the year. Most conferences and tech events are scheduled for the summer and around the typical weather patterns expected in their regions which means we have an ambitious schedule remaining until Q4.
Overview [R]
Your Value Plan keyholders as always are @theycallmedan, @smooth, @guiltyparties, @crimsonclad and @blocktrades. Project management is carried out by @crimsonclad and @guiltyparties.
The project scope includes promotional, marketing, impact and task-based activities that support Hive and its ecosystem as a whole. Activities may be major or minor. Project costs such as logistics and merchandise fit within the scope.
We take project management and quality control very seriously. All line items are continuously scrutinized and we employ a cyclical feedback model of communication.

Q3 Events and Activities
The following events and activities are not the entirety of the lineup but represent a part of it. Further opportunities are possible and are actively sought and followed up on.
Slot Art Festival
Lubiąż, Poland
Date: 8-12 July, 2025
This
has concluded a couple of days ago with Hive hosting a booth for a span of five days. Event findings are not yet ready at this time and should be available shortly. In the meantime, you can take a glimpse into the event .Crypto Experience Summit
La Paz and Santa Cruz, Bolivia
Date: 29-31 July, 2025
This is a two-part event that takes place in two Bolivian cities: La Paz and Santa Cruz on different days. Working with event organizers we developed a great sponsorship and engagement plan for the conference. @Arlettemsalase will be representing Hive on stage once again with assistance from other community members. This year's representation will have a strong B2B/DeFi focus.
SWC Duals Battles 4th Ed/Hive B2B
Maracay, Venezuela
Date: 3 August, 2025
The event is a calisthenics competition which needs no introduction. The location for this event is sponsored by the Parque Los Aviadores mall in Maracay, Venezuela, which is also welcoming us to discuss how HIVE/HBD can be used with the mall vendors for B2B. It will be set up in center of the large court space at the heart of the mall as usual and involve Hive athletes from different parts of Venezuela. The event serves to highlight not on Hive but some of the dapps built on Hive, with signage and printed materials reflecting that.
Previous events have seen onboarding done through Hive dapps (Ecency, InLeo, etc) in a sporadic format. This event will have a dedicated onboarding booth set up for both end user and B2B onboarding. A comprehensive B2B plan has been drafted in preparation. The foot traffic/crowd size during the event is estimated at 1000 people.
Blockchain Rio
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Date: 5-7 August, 2025
The extend of this engagement is still being worked out at this time. This is a great but complex event due to its location and size and we are still in the midst of evaluating what this year's participation will ultimately look like.
Paraguay Blockchain Summit
Asuncion, Paraguay

This is another LATAM conference where we have engaged with the organizing team to finalize our participation. We are in the process of discussion the most appropriate level of Hive participation for the event.
Cripto Latin Fest
Medellin, Colombia
Date: 21-22 August, 2025
Similar to the Rio event, we are still sorting out the details. We have worked extensively with the organizers in the past and are confident in their ability to put on a quality event with due promotion for Hive.

HiveCubaCon
Havana, Cuba
Date: 30 August, 2025
This quarter we'll see another year of HiveCubaCon to take place in Havana, Cuba. HiveCubaCon is the premier conference for Hive enthusiasts in Cuba, bringing together creators, businesses, and anyone interested in exploring the Hive Ecosystem. With workshops, networking opportunities, and real-life use cases of Hive and HBd being shown, it's the perfect event to connect, learn, and grow within the Hive community in Cuba.
Handball
Porto, Portugal
The Athletic Association of Aguas Santas, a professional handball club, in Portugal is back for the upcoming year as a promotional partner. We are planning to not only leverage visual representation with logo branding on player uniforms and the handball court but to also hold an array of physical onboarding events and workshops.
Plug In Proposals
Hive Wrestle Fest
Williston, North Dakota, USA
Date: TBC
For the first time we have a
active. Hive Wrestle Fest is coming together as a one-of-a-kind event for Hive. This event has a project manager working directly with the WOO team and is being organized in stages. Presently, the appropriate venue is being secured and key Hive assets (physical structures, materials) are being procured. The design elements to promote the event are likewise ready. As this is an event that seeks to include new partners and sponsors, it is very heavy on the organization side as opposed to regular Hive promotional engagements. This is also the first Hive sporting event in the United States.Updates
Business and integration-related workshops are ongoing in different areas. There are too many of these to outline in this post specifically. A good example can be found with the
initiative. Small group activities exist as part of most Value Plan projects.Conf3rence (Update)
Dortmund, Germany
Date: 3-4 September, 2025
We are working closely with Conf3rence team after formally solidifying our participation at this key event. We are presently exploring the potential of leveraging the Hive rally car as a key promotional focal point at this prestigious event. Including the car will greatly offset the costs of creating an attractive booth experience.
HiveFest (Update)
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Date: 15-19 October, 2025
Behind the scenes, a lot of work is being done to shape the full experience. This includes planning the program content, as well as excursions, and local Hive-related activations, as well as initiatives aimed at cross-chain collaboration and outward promotion of Hive to broader Web3 audiences. The two main venues for both the conference days have already been secured and partially pre-paid for by the HiveFest organization, as has the official HiveFest 2025 hotel in Kuala Lumpur "The Journal".
Young Art Fair
@youngartfair
[Ongoing] This is a multi-month promotional project with the YAF initiative which supports emerging artists in Poland, currently focusing on exploring how to best onboard and engage artists.
Krolestwo
@krolestwo
[Ongoing] The Krolestwo cultural center continues to focus on in-person onboarding, engagement opportunities, meetups and workshops. It allows for a long-term retention of onboarded users due to the presence of a physical community space.
Hive Racing
Bicycle and motorcycle racing on Hive is a continuous activity carried out in conjunction with general Hive B2B.
Bike Racing
We are currently piloting an initiative to work directly with the Orbea (Spain) cycling branch in Venezuela.
K13 Racing
K13 Racing took 1st place on the San Carlos curcuit race most recently.
Motorcycle racing (the motorcycle is not a Hive asset) is ongoing and we enjoy a partial-sponsorship position. Each race is treated differently as we test out promotional B2B approaches.
Apure Hive Park
The park is currently waiting for construction in mid Q3. All materials were procured in advance as a cost-saving measure. Parks act as a physical focal point and a local Hive-branded venue that we re-use as needed.
LATAM Digital Marketing
This is an overarching initiative that is ongoing and evolving month to month as KPIs and goals are directing its approaches. More information and updates will be provided by the @hivecreators team as applicable. These include AMAs with prominent exchange partners.
Q2 Events and Activities
Q2 activities are partially paid out of Q1 funds. This is not a fully-inclusive list but is only meant to represent a cross-section of highlights.
India Initiative
[Ongoing] Hive promotional activities in India fall under a variety of domains and projects but are generally seen as a single unit due to their continuous nature. They are supported in part through @FinFarm.
Hackathon winners have launched and maintained promising new projects including
, Travelo (which has since merged with Worldmappin), and . Hive was presented in two tech events. Investment-related activities are also ongoing. In addition, Hive activities in India have contributed to our gaining the LCX exchange listing.Italy Rally
We had another good year in Italy. This year we came out with a business developer who promoted Hive in a targeted manner during the event. The logistics of this particular location made bringing out a full Hive booth a challenge but the general impact of having a person who knows both promotion and rallying there with the team was significant. We are still following up the connections made during the rally.
Note: We have established that there are three WRC rallies per year. Monaco, which is the key race of the WRC, southern Europe (Italy or Portugal), and the CER or another central European race.
Buzzparty Austria
BuzzParty took place in May in Graz, Austria as planned. It was a great day for all 35 of its attendees where they got to mingle, explore Graz and talk Hive. This type of an event is meant to be a cross between a Meetup and a Tech Event and integrate both internal and external participants. It is scheduled to come to
in 2026.Community Well Projects
Two community well centers (also known as Hive Water Projects) have been launched to date with completion having taken place in Q2.
LATAM Center
This monumental project has been completed and is now in the finalization/promotional stage. We are looking for opportunities to connect the water installation to the Hive blockchain through LoRa and other technological options.
The moment the water pipe reached the concrete water tank.
Within the framework of the CWP, approximately 7,000 meters of hose have been installed to date, distributed in 70 rolls, which has allowed for an efficient distribution of water resources. This progress has directly benefited several communities, including health care centers and schools, improving their access to drinking water. In addition, a seedbed has been successfully established with more than 200 bamboo plants, promoting reforestation in critical areas for the protection of the water system. These actions reflect an integral commitment to sustainable development and the conservation of natural resources for the benefit of local communities.
Ghana Center
Hive's
The Water Direct Documentary:
The wells aka boreholes are not only a source of drinking water but also greatly help reduce the spread of water-borne diseases. Previous communities with Hive boreholes noticed a drop of cases of illnesses. We are aiming to dedicate Q3 and Q4 in part to studying and documenting these positive effects in order to show how Hive changes lives beyond communication and financial freedom.
SWC Events
Several competitions and events were held over Q2. SWC athletes in general also did a great job promoting Hive not only as content creators but through their social media. The various Hive promotional activities launched through SWC typically include invitations to an array of local business leaders who can become future B2B partners (micro-workshops are built into each activity). Each SWC event showcases the Hive ecosystem and its qualities in different ways depending on the current promotional plan being executed. Every competition sports the Hive brand, with Hive and dapp banners, posters and merch that looks sharp and draws attention.
SWC is currently implementing and planning activities that will be closely linked to B2B. Due to its maturity as a Hive promotional project, new approaches ranging from retention pilots to B2B are tested with the help of SWC.
Consensus
Crimsonclad represented Hive at Consensus in Toronto, Canada through a special partner invitation. This was our first attempt at a Canadian conference.
B2B
The following is a spotlight and not the entire extend of all B2B activities. Hive B2B is ongoing with a significant volume of business integrations in various locations.
In Venezuela, for example, Hive B2B has been working on consulting and mentorship visits to Hive's existing business partners. Several new locations belonging to existing partner businesses (who have been accepting HBD payments for over three years) have seen an expansion in terms of Hive representation. There is also a significant focus on large corporations with multiple wholesale and retail branches. Building a positive relationship with these types of established businesses shows a long-term commitment by both the business and Hive.
All HBD-accepting businesses have been advised in respect to the breadth of B2C options built on Hive and welcome the flexibility it provides.
General Discussion
Please also take a look at the earlier
as many points do carry over.Community Support
Mazer, US and FinFarm, India: Both Mazer and FinFarm are promotional partners who are here to help Hive grow. They have a sound understanding of Hive and its ecosystem. Individual projects that either gaming-focused (Mazer) or DeFi-focused (FinFarm) are encouraged to reach out to them respectively. Comments can be left for them on this post.
Hive Merch for Europe: A notable order of Hive merchandise to be shared between various projects is scheduled for Q3. It should be available for distribution towards the end of Q3 as printing and shipping allows. Items to be ordered include hats, shirts, stickers, pins and patches. By placing this order in bulk we will be able to save money.
Tickets
Part of the VP vision is allocated to attending conferences and events simply as representatives and sometimes we have free or heavily discounted tickets to conferences. These are provided by the conference organizers out of their good will. Most Hive community members who are adequately knowledgeable about Hive are suitable to attend (those who have knowledge gaps are encouraged to improve their knowledge prior to attending).
Currently Available:
- Spain: Two tickets to Merge Madrid (these are team tickets for two Hive members who will serve to evaluate the suitability of the conference for the 2026 program)
- United Kingdom: VIP tickets Microelectronics UK
Those wishing to attend these events must let the VP team know as we must advise the respective event organizers. Local transportation/logistical provisions are available for those attending.
Tools
Common definitions and guidance points have been added to:
These are to be expanded over time.
The VP website can be found here:
This website is meant to replace the need for bulky Google Sheets in terms of reporting and to make data more accessible to everyone. It is still a work in progress. Its priority is functionality at this time. Recommendations for additional functions are welcome. Notably, the website includes onboarding metrics. The metrics are still being worked on. The purpose of these is to gauge the quality of onboarding and retention.
With Q1 we launched the SMART goals dashboard as a pilot project. The SMART goals pilot was not as successful as it could have been - they were more successful for projects with a narrow scope than for those with a variable environment where opportunities and barriers are unknown ahead of time.
The new project dashboard can be found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tqPtEbS5EsajO-kgEgNtK1-eqXdZS8IOLaZ0CRKBrN4/edit?usp=sharing
The Dashboard is still in development, and we welcome any feedback on it and on the metrics that should be included. Feel free to include this type of tool in any DHF project or any project in general.
This document will serve as an internal optimization tool for both Value Plan and the various supported projects. Its purpose is to cross-reference off-chain and on-chain information, key data such as the total number of people at events, the conversion rate to new users, the cost per account created, and other data of interest that will help projects make decisions and grow in favor of the ecosystem.
The document contains different sheets. One shows the funds allocated for projects and the total investment in HBD. It also includes a section to categorize projects according to their focus and strategy so that Hive can increase its influence. It also contains other tools under development, such as a history of HP for incorporated users which will help us understand the onboarded user's journey.
The Dashboard sheet, which is still under construction (the data shown is only for development and testing purposes), will take data from applications created and adjusted to each of the projects. These individual apps will be designed for easy use to add the data necessary to obtain the metrics and KPIs required for internal optimization and streamlined publication for the entire community.
This tool can be adapted for large or small projects; it may even target specific events where key metrics are gathered for strategic community feedback.
The Dashboard will be implemented gradually as a pilot project during this quarter.
Questions? Technical questions to @spiritsurge (Website) and @joheredia21 (Dashboard) who are working on this. General questions please leave untagged as normal.
Onboard Tracking
Value Plan was launched with a focus on building industry recognition for Hive rather than onboarding. Over time, that scope was broadened to include onboarding of regular individuals to grow our Hive community.
Onboarding during various publicity events was typically done through social media frontends such as Ecency and InLeo. Much of this onboarding saw new users making accounts during random times and sometimes leaving them empty until they either got a chance to talk to whomever onboarded them or until they got a chance to engage during a follow-up activity. Those who start posting do this without expecting any organized on-chain activity such as curation. Therefore, they post in any way they want, as intended on Hive. This is great except it doesn't allow us to track exactly who was onboarded where.
A new onboarding platform created by the 3Speak team is still being worked on and launched. They have piloted it at Talent Land in Q2 and it was notably popular. We're hoping to see more of it in the future once its completed.
The conference onboarding platform has a limited number of account tokens (it has not been swapped over to paid accounts yet) and is largely used for targeted events where account creation is done at booths. Regardless, it will be used at upcoming events to conduct mass onboarding. What is mass onboarding? It's simply giving each conference participant an opportunity to participate in Hive by granting them an account.
Proposal
The proposal is somewhat belated due to matters beyond our control but is nevertheless now launched with a positive outlook towards the remainder of Q3 and beyond.
Why are Value Plan proposals always done in quarters? Why not just have an annual budget? The Value Plan annual budget is intended to approximate to 1,000,000 HBD. The account itself, however, is never meant to have more than 150,000 HBD at the most in it at any given time. The quarterly budgets are transferred to our various vendors in accordance to event and activity schedules. This keeps the account size reasonable while also allowing for a predictable operational plan.
This proposal is asking for 250,000 HBD for Q3 2025.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
~ The Value Plan Team
