Завжди приємно дивитися на квітку. Неважливо, чи цвіте це дика рослинка, чи виведена селекціонерами декоративна. Тим паче, коли розцвітають овочі на твоєму городі. Любуєшся на цей цвіт, і не задумуєшся, що насправді ці квіти - не для краси. Вірніше, - не тільки для краси.
Ось зараз рясно цвітуть у мене кабачки з гарбузами. Квіти величезні за розміром, і жовті, наче соняхи. Їх дуже багато. Та не з кожної чомусь зав'язується плід. Можливо, розцвітають вони в холодний чи вітряний день, і до них не долітають бджілки. Адже саме вони запилюють квіточку, щоб утворилися зав'язі і ми отримали смачний корисний продукт у вигляді гарбузика чи кабачка.

It is always nice to look at a flower. It does not matter whether it is a blooming wild plant or a decorative one bred by breeders. Especially when the vegetables are blooming in your garden. You admire this flower, and you do not think that in fact these flowers are not for beauty. Rather, not only for beauty.
Now my zucchini and pumpkins are blooming profusely. The flowers are huge in size, and yellow, like sunflowers. There are a lot of them. But for some reason, not every one bears fruit. Perhaps they bloom on a cold or windy day, and bees do not reach them. After all, it is they who pollinate the flower so that the ovaries are formed and we get a tasty and useful product in the form of a pumpkin or zucchini.

В теплий сонячний же день бджілки старанно облітають кожну квіточку. Коли навколо тиша, то можна почути їх гудіння. Майже як навесні, коли цвітуть абрикоси. І тоді через пару днів вже можна побачити результат - багато молодих зав'язів улюблених гарбузів чи кабачків.

On a warm sunny day, bees diligently fly around each flower. When there is silence around, you can hear them buzzing. Almost like spring when the apricots are blooming. And then after a couple of days you can already see the result - many young ovaries of your favorite pumpkins or zucchini.

Отже, квіти в першу чергу створені для того, щоб своїм яскравим виглядом та ароматом приманювати комах. Бо тільки з допомогою їхніх лапок можливе народження плоду. А коли плоди достигають, то з їх насіння і буде продовжено життя даного роду. Інакше - ніяк.

So, flowers are primarily created to attract insects with their bright appearance and aroma. Because only with the help of their legs, the birth of a fetus is possible. And when the fruits ripen, the life of this family will be extended from their seeds. Otherwise, no way.

Правда, якщо не вважати багатьох представників городини, які людина розмножує іншим методом. Наприклад, - плоди картоплі. Ті, що виростають із квітки, нас не цікавлять. А ті бульби, що утворилися з коренів, ми і в їжу вживаємо, і садимо навесні для отримання наступного врожаю.
Але все одно: квіти є квіти, їх красу ніколи не заперечиш!😍

We are not interested in those that grow from the flower. And those tubers that have formed from the roots, we use for food and plant in the spring to get the next harvest.
But still: flowers are flowers, you can never deny their beauty!😍
