TASTING A DELICIOUS "VIEJO DE CALDAS" RUM CREAM (ENG-ESP)

Here I share with you a delicious drink that I was invited to try while here in Colombia. It is a very smooth rum cream that is rich on the palate. This rum cream is very similar to cream punch for those who are familiar with it, except that its consistency is a little more liquid, but it is a liqueur that is easy to drink due to its smooth flavor; it has a light cream color and is smooth and sweet.

Hola, apreciados amigos de esta hermosa y linda comunidad, les deseo un feliz y aventurero día cargado de bendiciones hoy. Por acá comparto con ustedes una rica bebida que, estando aquí en Colombia, me invitaron a probar. Es una crema de ron muy suave y rica al paladar. Esta crema de ron es lo más parecido a un ponche crema para el que lo conoce, solo que su consistencia es un poquito más líquida, pero es un licor que se deja tomar por su suave sabor; tiene un color crema claro, suave y dulce.

I decided to try it to see what the drink was like, and I can say that I really liked it. It's a drink that, when served very cold, is easy to drink, ideal for those moments when you're at family gatherings. This drink is from a rum brand that is well known here in Colombia, Viejo de Caldas rum, which is now very famous in its rum cream version. As I said, I know you're going to like it because, as I mentioned earlier, it's very similar to pinche crema sola or ponche. There are also other versions of cream whiskey liqueurs, but this one was rum-based, which I really liked and would try again. Decidí tomarlo para conocer qué tal era la bebida y puedo decir que me gustó mucho; es una bebida que, estando bien fría, se deja tomar, ideal para esos momentos que estás en reuniones en familia. Esta bebida es de una línea de ron conocida aquí en Colombia, como ron Viejo de Caldas, muy famosa ahora en su versión de crema de ron. Como le digo, sé que les va a gustar, porque, como les dije anteriormente, es algo muy parecido al pinche crema sola o al ponche; también hay otras versiones de licores de whisky en crema, claro que este era de ron, algo que me gustó mucho y que volvería a probar.
