Today I'm bringing you a recommendation for an anime that made me laugh a lot, and I'm sure it will for you too!

It currently has 10 episodes, is a comedy, and can be found on platforms like Netflix.

SYNOPSIS / SUMMARY:

Tatsu, an infamous and feared yakuza boss nicknamed the "Immortal Dragon," retires from crime to become a stay-at-home dad so he can support his wife, Miku. The episodic series depicts a variety of comedic scenarios, in which Tatsu's banal domestic work as a housewife is juxtaposed with his intimidating personality and appearance, and his frequent encounters with former yakuza associates and rivals.

TATSU AND HIS SOMEWHAT PECULIAR LIFE CHANGE:

All our attention will be focused on Tatsu, as this protagonist exhibits somewhat unusual behavior... he retains the appearance and behavior of a Yakuza (For those who don't know, Yakuza is a term used to refer to members of criminal organizations). However, the strangeness isn't there; instead, he uses all that energy and essence for everyday household chores. (Imagine a mafia man who's scary just by looking at him, arguing about rising prices while shopping or cooking as if he were doing mafia things.)

But beyond the comedy we appreciate, we find something a little deeper, Tatsu really wants to leave his violent past behind and show that he can build a calm and responsible life, this happens because he maintains a devotion to Miku (his wife) and his pride in wanting to keep the home spotless while she works always welcoming her with food.

MIKU AND TATSU... AN UNUSUAL COUPLE:

Miku is cheerful, somewhat absent-minded, and above all, a tireless worker. You could say she's the ideal complement to Tatsu, as she doesn't come across as a "damsel in distress," but rather as a woman who fully trusts her partner and appreciates every detail he does (even when some things may seem a bit exaggerated).

Something unique about this relationship, and what makes it special, is that it's not based on the traditional roles we know... This is where the man takes care of the home and the woman goes out to work. Both do so naturally; there are no forced actions or complaints, demonstrating that love and mutual respect are what truly sustain a relationship.

DETAILS I LIKED AND WANT TO HIGHLIGHT, AND WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN IMPROVED:

• I like that it's one of the animes that breaks stereotypes, in which a man not only has to be a violent and dominant person, but can also take care of the home with responsibility and commitment.

• The humor is funny, absurd, direct, and every moment is filled with charisma... Every episode will make you smile.

• The episodes feel very short, and the animation can feel somewhat limited if you're expecting something visually fluid and engaging.

• Each episode doesn't have a continuous plot or story from start to finish. I like it because they naturally present the episodes as a "day-to-day" experience.

• While it's true that we meet certain secondary characters who add a little more spice to the story, I would have liked to see a little more depth in this... however, the interaction of these characters with our protagonist often creates somewhat "weird" or "crazy" situations, ideal for keeping this anime full of entertainment and fun.

• Since I mentioned the secondary characters in the previous point, there was one in particular who stole my heart, and that was Gin, at one point... "Just a little turd."

I highly recommend this anime, as it's one of those shows that doesn't need a long plot to make us laugh and teach us something. Tatsu reminds us that change is possible; even someone who lived in darkness can reinvent themselves and care for others. Each episode is short, lighthearted, and full of situations that will make us laugh, have a good time, and also make us reflect on what truly matters (a family, a healthy relationship, peace... and, as Tatsu would say, "a good lunch" or "a good deal at the supermarket").

El día de hoy les traigo una recomendación de un anime que me sacó muchas risas y estoy segura que también lo hará con ustedes!

Actualmente cuenta con 10 capítulos, es del género comedia y se puede encontrar en plataformas como Netflix.

SINOPSIS / RESUMEN:

Tatsu, un infame y temido jefe yakuza apodado el "Dragón Inmortal", se retira del crimen para convertirse en un amo de casa y poder mantener a su esposa Miku. La serie episódica representa una variedad de escenarios cómicos, en los que el trabajo doméstico banal de Tatsu como ama de casa se yuxtapone con su personalidad y apariencia intimidantes, y sus frecuentes encuentros con antiguos asociados y rivales yakuza.

TATSU Y SU CAMBIO DE VIDA ALGO PECULIAR:

Toda la atención la pondremos en Tatsu, ya que este protagonista tiene un comportamiento algo inusual... conserva la apariencia y el comportamiento de un Yakuza (Para quienes no saben, Yakuza es un término que utilizan para nombrar a miembros de organizaciones criminales), sin embargo lo raro no se encuentra ahí, sino que usa toda esa energía y esencia para las tareas cotidianas en el hogar. (Imaginen un hombre mafioso que da miedo con solo verlo, discutiendo por que suben los precios al realizar las compras o cocinando como si estuviera realizando cosas de mafiosos).

Pero más allá de la comedia que apreciamos, encontramos algo un poco más profundo, Tatsu realmente quiere dejar atrás su pasado violento y demostrar que puede construir una vida tranquila y responsable, esto sucede ya que mantiene una devoción por Miku (su esposa) y su orgullo por querer mantener el hogar impecable mientras ella trabaja recibiéndola siempre con comida.

MIKU Y TATSU... UNA PAREJA FUERA DE LO COMÚN:

Miku es alegre, algo despistadas y sobre todo una trabajadora incansable. Se podría decir que es el complemento ideal para Tatsu, ya que ella no se muestra como una "dama en apuros", sino como una mujer que confía plenamente en su pareja y valora cada detalle que él hace (Incluso cuando algunas cosas pueden parecer algo exageradas).

Algo particular de esta relación, y que lo hace especial es que no se encuentra basada en los roles tradicionales que conocemos... Aquí es donde el hombre se encarga del hogar y la mujer sale a trabajar. Ambos lo hacen con naturalidad, no se presentan cosas forzadas ni quejas, demostrando que el amor y respeto mutuo son lo que realmente mantienen una relación.

DETALLES QUE ME GUSTARON Y QUIERO DESTACAR Y QUE COSAS PUDO MEJORAR:

• Me agrada de que es de los animes que rompen estereotipos, en el cual un hombre no solo tiene que ser una persona violenta y dominante, sino también puede cuidar del hogar con responsabilidad y compromiso.

• El humor que manejan es gracioso, absurdo, directo y cada momento se encuentra lleno de carisma... Todos los capítulos te sacaran muchas sonrisas.

• Los capítulos se sienten muy cortos y la animación puede sentirse algo limitada si se espera algo visualmente fluido y atractivo.

• Cada capítulo no tiene una trama continua o historia de inicio a fin, me gusta por que presentan con naturalidad los capítulos como un "lo que pasa día a día".

• Si bien es cierto, conocemos a ciertos personajes secundarios que nos brindan un poco más de "sazón" a la historia, me hubiera gustado que se profundice un poco más de esto... sin embargo, la interacción de estos personajes con nuestro protagonista suele generar situaciones algo "raras" o "locas" ideal para mantener este anime lleno de entretenimiento y diversión.

• Ya que en el punto anterior mencioné de los personajes secundarios, hubo uno en específico que se robó mi corazón y es Gin en su momento ... "Una caquita nomás"

Recomiendo mucho este anime, ya que es de esas obras que no necesitan grandes tramas para hacernos reír y dejarnos enseñanza alguna. Tatsu nos recuerda que cambiar es posible, incluso alguien que vivió en la oscuridad puede reinventarse y cuidar de los demás. Cada episodio es corto, ligero y lleno de situaciones que nos harán reír, pasarla bien y también a reflexionar lo que realmente importa (Una familia, una relación sana, paz... y como diría Tatsu "Un buen almuerzo" o "Unas buenas ofertas en el supermercado").
