When I look at the sea, I think of Ricardo Arjona's song "The Bridge."

We are at once so close and so far away...

All my childhood friends, the people I grew up with, the ones I was raised with, are over there and I'm still here.

That day, looking at this cannon, I thought: "What if I use it to get to the other side?" 😂 These are the crazy thoughts that come to a Cuban's mind when there seem to be no options left.

I'm sure the future will bring us back together and I'll be able to share moments with all those I miss today.

Maybe if there was a bridge, everything would be different...

Cuando miro al mar, me viene a la mente la canción "El Puente" de Ricardo Arjona.

Estamos a la vez tan cerca y tan lejos...

Todos mis amigos de la infancia, la gente con la que crecí, con la que me crié, están allá y yo sigo aquí.Ese día, mirando este cañón, pensé:
"¿Y si lo uso para llegar al otro lado?" 😂
Estas son las locuras que se le ocurren a un cubano cuando ya no ve más opciones.

Estoy seguro que el futuro nos volverá a juntar y podré compartir con todos aquellos a los que extraño hoy.

Quizás si hubiera un puente, todo sería diferente...
