Opening a few Holozing Alpha Vials

Curious

Although I'm not really much online lately, I was very curious when I read the announcement from Holozing about the Alpha Vial opening date. It's been 6 days already but as it's weekend, and I was up early to feed the little man, I decided to go to the Holozing website and have a look to see if I was going to open them.

I remember the excitement back in the old days when opening a Steemmonsters pack all too well. The joy of seeing a card shake and opening a Gold Foil Legendary was something I won't forget. Although I was much more online back in these days, and haven't played an online game besides some Playstation Monopoly with the kid, I do want to check out Holozing because if I won't find time or enjoy it, I'm pretty sure my little lady will.

I plan on letting her check out the game once I know a bit more about it so I might as well not delay opening the Vials too much longer.. I decided today I will only check out 2 of them as I only have 4 and no funds to get new once at this moment. I hope to add more in the future, of course.

The Holo Cube

Without reading the annoucements or posts (because time is precious with the baby, lol) I just went to the site and clicked to see what was new on the site. The first thing I noticed was "The Holo Cube":

As there is a button "open cube" I figured this would be where I open a Vial, but I wasn't sure and just went ahead to open it. Some shattering glass (so it seemed) was moving around and I took a screenshotto show what I saw:

I was expecting some creature to appear there but this didn't happen so I clicked further to find out more..

Inventory

I found the inventory page and saw a Wrackoo there:

Looks pretty badass, I love green, so I'm happy, haha.

The next thing I saw was the empty cards part where I suspect I can collect cards later?

Then there's the consumables part, I see food, water, healer food and mana elixer and potion there:

One epic, one rare and one uncommon rarity item were added.

I noticed the Alpha vial section now showed 3 Vials left, I should have bought more, lol.

Opening another cube

The curiosity to open another one was too big to ignore so let's see what's in this one and check what's new...

Let's check the inventory again

A walle was added, so now I have a water and earth creature.. what I noticed was that this one has a higher attack number, although I don't know what that means yet..

More consumables were added, I now have 8 healer food of epic rarity! Below the items after opening 2 Alpha Vials:

So instead of 3 items, I now have 6.. and one of the epic's is double:

I expected the empty cards part to be exactly the same as with the first opening but something changed:

Instead of water and electric type of creatures, a grass type creature part was added. I don't understand this part yet but I will read into it another time as the baby is wide awake again after typing this post..

Anyway, it's exciting to see something new on Hive, moving forward, finally being able to check the vials and hopefully soon able to check the game out. I bet many have opened their vials, I will see if I can check and compare other people's openings soon because I'm curious what could be there and learn more about the contents as well..
