Yesterday I decided to take a day off of posting, mostly to avoid burnout. Plus I had a lot of errands to run around town, so writing really became one of my least concerns for the day. Today I fortunately have some free time and decided to put together a fun post for Three Tune Tuesday as I haven't done so for a couple of weeks now. Today I had some inspiration from songs I heard while driving around yesterday. So here we go...

Let's kick things off with Joan Jett!

Joan Jett

Joan Jett is a rock n' roll legend ever since she co-founded The Runaways in 1975. After the bands breakup in 1979 she pursued a very successful solo career with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts with hits like "I Love Rock N' Roll" . Today I decided to share a cover she did in 1990 of the old AC/DC song "Dirty Deeds". I have shared it before, but she just does it so well, and looks really good doing it!

Lzzy Hale

Lzzy Hale became a big name in rock n' roll upon the release of the first album of her band Halestorm in 2009. Since then she has been a featured vocalist by many bands over the years, but I still really like the work she's done with her band Halestorm. So today I'm choosing a song off of their second album from 2012 called The Strange Case Of... and the song has an epic title: "Love Bites (So Do I)"

Taylor Momsen

Taylor has been in the spotlight ever since she was a child when her parents signed a modeling contract for her at the age of two. She later rose to fame as Cindy Lou Who in "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" starring Jim Carrey. By the time she became an adult she was done with the acting industry and a traumatic childhood that came with it. So she set her sights on rock n' roll and it was great move!

She has fronted the band The Pretty Reckless since 2009 and had phenomenal success with her strong rock n' roll voice. Today's pick comes off the third album by the band titled Who You Selling For and the song is "Take Me Down":
