Hello Hello to all Hivians, Hivers and indeed any bird lovers that are reading this.

Some of my favourite posts to write on Hive are the feathered friends posts, especially as the rewards go to buying their food in the park. Speaking of which, I got my latest monthly food delivery for them today.

So let's celebrate by sharing some of our Feathered Friends this Fun Friday

The water you see is Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy Scotland a few minutes walk from me.

As you can see it was pretty much frozen and I am sure slim pickings in the way of food!

Top end frozen so the swans, ducks and goose congregate down this bottom end!

Seagull photobombing me again!

Big boy swan was standing on the ice whilst the female was having a wee potter in the water.

Time for a preen of the boy's undercarriage!

Back up onto the ice the female went..

Zoom in time.

Time for the female to do some preening. I have been feeding them quite often this winter, and I am glad the female has finally started to put some weight on.

This post though, is an entry for this week's

hosted by the wonderful @nelinoeva in the fantastic

And I shall pick this one for the entry

That was a tricky choice to make and a process of elimination. I narrowed it down to the two where both of them were standing!

This one won it because I like the wee water rings around the feet of the male swan!

What do you think? Was that your favourite?

All images were taken but the author on January 3rd at Beveridge Park, Kirkcaldy with his Google 9 XL Pro Smartphone camera and ramblings are also from me the author and mad Scotsman TengoLoTodo unless otherwise stated..
