Busy Day... Coffee... Etc.

We're moving soon, and I'm actually really excited about it. It's always been my dream to live in the countryside again, and we're about to do just that!

We're preparing for the move, so it's going to be quite busy in the coming days. The house we're moving to will also need some repairs here and there, but we can gradually do them. Guess I'll have a series of DIY blog posts in the coming days. hahaha

Anyway, let's talk about today... xD

My father and I headed out to buy something I need for work, especially since we're moving to the countryside. The main office is inside the public market, so we went to this busy area of the city.

I couldn't get it yet because it was out of stock, but they may have it tomorrow or next week, so I'll just wait for their call. I didn't want to go to the other offices in the next city because they're also not sure about the availability.

After that, we went to another shop for some errands, then walked to South Town, a shopping mall about 10 minutes from the public market on foot.

We needed to buy some stuff, but aside from that, I had to buy some coffee! <3

I rarely visit coffee shops, but when I do, it's not to drink coffee, but to buy some coffee beans.

I like the coffee beans from this cafe. They're cheap, but really good. This is one of the things I'll miss when we move. Well, I can always visit the city or find another place to buy some coffee beans near the new place.

In addition, my father's hometown is going to be one ship ride away from the port of the new place we're staying. I can always buy some of my favorite coffee beans there and visit my grandma! <3 I'll be needing extra budget when I do, but it'd be a great chance!

Last time, I bought their house blend because it smelled so good. But another reason was that they ran out of dark roasted ones. Finally, they have their "Dark Matter" coffee beans available.

This cost three glasses of iced Americano from the same cafe. hahaha Buying coffee beans is much cheaper, and I can experiment with my coffee every time.

They also grind it for you for free... I actually enjoy grinding coffee beans by myself because I bask in its smell, but my grinder is in the old house.

The place is also very cozy, and there aren't many people. When we went there earlier today to buy coffee beans, there were only two other customers, one was a foreigner, and the other was a businessperson working on his laptop. hahaha

I also really like the aesthetic of this place. It's primarily black and white, so it's giving off classic, sophisticated vibes. It would be a nice place to chill, read some books, and drink coffee.

We continued with our other errands after getting some coffee beans. We walked a lot outside in the sun and also inside the cold mall... and it made me hungry. When I told my father my stomach was crying, he treated me to some food!

We got some watermelon slushies and some toasted meat buns. They were delicious, and my tummy was happy.

After that, I bought some takeout for lunch. Well, my mom prepared rice, so I just bought the viand from this place. The spicy garlic one is fantastic!

We had to go to another department store nearby to get some more stuff before heading home.

In the afternoon, I had to go out with my mom as well. We went to church, then dropped by the local house goods store. We need more stuff for the move... and there are a lot of good products at a much lower price in that place! :D

It was a tiring, yet productive day for me. I'll be working this weekend, so I'll be busy in a different way. hahaha

I'll end this post here. Thanks for reading, and see you around! (^^,)/
