[ENG/ESP] A quiet day doing my duties.

Greetings to all. It's already the last day of the week, and although many are beginning to rest and disconnect, for me the work is not yet finished. However, I don't want to miss the opportunity to wish you all a wonderful and restful weekend. I hope you find moments of joy and affection, surrounded by your loved ones, doing what you enjoy most and recharging your batteries with positive energy.
This weekend I have work commitments to fulfill, so I know that complete rest will not be possible. But even so, I will do my best to bring some well-being to my body and my family. Because even though duty calls, it is also important to take care of those around us, to give them time, to share a meal, words, smiles... those little moments are what bring the family closer together every day.
Today was a pretty busy day, but I'm very pleased with what I accomplished. The weather was just the way I like it, not too hot and not too cool, with the bright sun enhancing every corner of the island and bringing everything it touched to life.
I left home early with my well-organized to-do list; the first thing was to check the chlorine at the Unik Hotel. Luckily, the whole week has gone smoothly and the results have been satisfactory. I feel calm knowing that I have fulfilled my responsibilities.
On the way, as always, I stopped for a few seconds to admire the scenery. We are fortunate to live in a beautiful place, where nature and urban life coexist in harmony.
Mis saludos para todos. Ya estamos en el último día de la semana, y aunque muchos comienzan a descansar y desconectar, para mí el trabajo aún no termina. Sin embargo, no quiero dejar de desearles un hermoso y reparador fin de semana. Espero que encuentren momentos de alegría y cariño, rodeados de sus seres queridos, haciendo lo que más les guste y les recargue de buenas energías.
Para este fin de semana tengo compromisos laborales que cumplir, así que ya sé que el descanso completo no será posible. Pero aun así, haré lo posible por brindarle algo de bienestar a mi cuerpo y a mi familia. Porque aunque el deber llama, también es importante cuidar de los que nos rodean, regalarles tiempo, compartir una comida, palabras, sonrisas… esos pequeños momentos son los que hacen que la familia se una más cada día.
Hoy fue un día bastante activo, pero me siento muy complacida con lo que logré. El clima estuvo tal como me gusta, ni muy caluroso ni demasiado fresco, el sol brillante realzaba cada rincón de la isla y le daba vida a todo lo que tocaba.
Salí temprano de casa con mi lista de tareas bien organizada; lo primero fue la verificación del cloro en el Hotel Unik. Por suerte, toda la semana ha fluido sin inconvenientes y los resultados han sido satisfactorios. Me siento tranquila por haber cumplido con responsabilidad.
En el camino, como siempre, me detuve unos segundos a admirar los paisajes. Tenemos la satisfacción de vivir en un lugar hermoso, donde lo natural y lo urbano conviven en armonía.
After finishing my usual work, I waited for my husband. Our next activity would take us to the bank located in the Parque Costa Azul shopping center, very close to where we were, but he had the cards and had had to keep them with him that morning. So, like a good partner, I waited patiently. I took advantage of that moment to observe the movement around me, which always has something new to tell.
Luego de terminar mi labor habitual, esperé a mi esposo. La siguiente actividad nos llevaría al banco ubicado en el centro comercial Parque Costa Azul, muy cerca de donde estábamos, pero él tenía las tarjetas y había tenido que quedarse con ellas en la mañana. Así que, como buena compañera, esperé pacientemente. Aproveché ese momento para observar el movimiento a mi alrededor, que siempre tiene algo nuevo que contar.
Once at the bank, we withdrew cash and headed off to complete the last, and perhaps most important, task of the day: buying food for our birds. We love taking care of them and care deeply about their well-being. The weather on the way there was surprising, typical of this beloved island that we love so much.
Una vez en el banco, hicimos el retiro de efectivo y nos dirigimos a cumplir con la última, y quizás más importante, tarea del día: comprar la comida para nuestras aves. Nos encanta cuidar de ellas, y nos preocupamos mucho por su bienestar. El camino fue sorprendente por el clima, típico en esta querida isla que tanto nos gusta.
We had been notified the day before that the truck with the feed had arrived. And although some might say we were overreacting, I decided to set aside two sacks. Last time we had to change the type of feed due to a shortage, and I didn't want that to happen again. So we took precautions to ensure our birds would get their usual diet.
Desde el día anterior ya nos habían notificado que el camión con el alimento había llegado. Y aunque algunos dirán que exageramos, decidí separar dos sacos. La última vez tuvimos que cambiar el tipo de alimento por falta de abastecimiento, y no quería que eso volviera a suceder. Así que tomamos previsiones para asegurarles a nuestras aves su dieta habitual.
With peace of mind and hearts full, we headed home, contemplating once again the bounty of nature. It was a day like so many others: simple, full of small tasks, but productive and with special moments.
Dear hives, that was our journey today. It was a peaceful day in which we were able to fulfill all our duties.

Con la mente tranquila y el corazón satisfecho, nos dirigimos a casa, contemplando una vez más las bondades de la naturaleza. Fue un día como tantos otros: sencillo, lleno de pequeñas tareas, pero productivo y con momentos especiales.
Queridos hives, así fue nuestro recorrido de hoy. Fue un día tranquilo en el cual pudimos cumplir con todos nuestros deberes.
