Confessions of a Leader on the "Battle of the Beans"

Under a mountain of applause, the president of the world government concludes her speech, in honor of commemorating 33 years of the "battle of the bean." On the mothership all those attending the event, especially the members of the interplanetary space senate, join in this crucial celebration that marked universal history, which practically put an end to the coffee war and freed the people, both of this planet and the other planets in the galaxy, from the siege by the space oppressors who wanted to prevent the consumption of coffee as an excuse to make the inhabitants less active, by reducing their way of thinking, making them docile, weak and manipulable, with the sole objective of consolidating a tyranny imposed by a terrifying leader, who tried to take over the free world.

Today, only the elderly understand the gravity of what happened and how close the villains came to taking over everything and depriving humanity of precious coffee. Undoubtedly the intervention of the resistance, led by the so-called "lady of the coffee" who in our time holds the position of president, was decisive. However, the new generations do not know of that, beyond what the books say.

The work of the resistance was crucial at the moment when the villains discovered that terrifying weapon known as the bell, with which they could ally with beings from other planets, initiating a war with extraterrestrial support to destroy coffee plantations worldwide using unknown technology, while from Earth they sent samples of fungi and laboratory diseases to their alien henchmen so that they could also use them against the population of other worlds that they were interested in controlling. Fortunately, somehow the resistance secretly managed to alter these plans, but no one knows the truth about how they managed to contact the aliens from the earth, it is a mystery that transcended throughout history as a myth or rather a legend full of many nuances.

While the world leader retires to rest in her quarters holding hands with her grandchildren, suddenly the mother ship is destabilized for a few seconds to produce an emergency braking, in the speakers you can hear the voice of the captain indicating that there is no cause for alarm, only that the route was interrupted by the passage of a group of space whales, which will force them to be stopped for a couple of hours before continuing the journey to Mars. The announcement causes a smile on the face of the old woman, who says to her grandchildren: Well, I think it's time for me to tell you a story, I will use this way to clarify all the doubts that humanity has about the "battle of the bean" and why it was so important.

Sitting in the presidential chair with her two grandchildren on her lap, the powerful woman takes a cup of hot coffee and turns on the ship's remote transmission system so that everyone can hear the statement she is about to relate. Once everything is ready, she takes a long sip of the steaming coffee, at the same time she takes a deep breath, showing with a kind gesture the pleasure of enjoying the delicious aroma of a freshly brewed specialty bean, with a soft voice she starts a surprising announcement, which will change the history books forever.

The President confessed to everyone, that she belonged to an extraterrestrial race that inhabited the earth since remote times, these beings came from a distant galaxy where coffee was their most precious good, she also said that they were the ones who brought the coffee plants to our planet and taught the American Indians how to cultivate it, their race is peaceful, that is why they did not want to intervene in the first stages of the coffee war.

However, when they realized that the intentions of the tyrants were directed against the coffee consumers to limit their intelligence, they understood that they were surely in conversation with an extraterrestrial race that conquered worlds and used this same strategy in the past, and that is how they discovered that these ships were hidden behind a large asteroid in the shape of a coffee bean, ready to invade the earth, then at that moment, they decided to provide the resistance with advanced technology weapons to intervene and launch a devastating attack against the invading troops, which was called the "battle of the bean" by the shape that had the place of confrontation, without which, not only the earth would have fallen into the wrong hands, but also along with it surely the entire galaxy.
