Hello to all members of this community, photography and art lovers! This time, I'm here to share the photos I took during my visit to the Museum of Fine Arts in Caracas, (Venezuela). It's always nice to learn about exhibitions through social media, but there's a certain charm to going without any prior knowledge and stumbling upon some truly intriguing works. In the case of the Marcel Duchamp exhibition, it was that kind of encounter that transported me to the past and sparked my curiosity about what was hanging on the walls.

I've noticed that many museum visitors are quite visual. If the artworks aren't eye-catching enough, they're likely to skip from one room to another. I enjoy observing those kinds of details; it's a sort of secret pleasure I have, haha. On the other hand, every time I enter a museum room, I'm eager to see what I might find; I go in with a blank mind, waiting for the artist to whom the space is dedicated to communicate, through their work, who they were.

Marcel Duchamp not only explored different artistic methods, such as Cubism and Realism, but also embraced a passion for chess and even music. I am fascinated by how versatile people can be when inspired, and Marcel's work demonstrates that throughout his life he was willing to transform himself, his portfolio being the testament to his broad and splendid path as an artist.

On the walls of the room were displayed some sketches, I imagine from some of his projects, as well as some quotes from the artist. The first mentions, "I am still a victim of chess. It has all the beauty of art and much more. It cannot be commercialized. Chess is purer than art in its social standing."... This demonstrates the impact that game had on Marcel. In the other, "Beauty resides in the mind of the beholder, not in the object itself."... And he's right; the sensitivity that what we observe awakens in us truly comes from within, like a kind of "connection."

It was undoubtedly a fascinating exhibition. At the time, I might not notice some things when I'm in museums and galleries. I feel that energy, that interest. But when I'm home and look at the photographs again, analyzing the life of the person who created them, I understand much better why I was drawn to it from the beginning. It's like putting together the pieces of a puzzle. It's quite fun.

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad, amantes de la fotografía y del arte! En ésta ocasión, vengo a mostrarles las fotografías que tomé durante mi visita al Museo de Bellas Artes de Caracas (Venezuela). Siempre es grato enterarme de esta exposiciones a través de las redes sociales, pero hay cierto encanto cuando voy sin enterarme de nada y me encuentro con obras bastante curiosas. En el caso del trabajo de Marcel Duchamp, fue esa clase de encuentro que me transportó al pasado y despertó mi curiosidad ante lo que se encontraba colgado en las paredes.

He notado que muchos de los asistentes al museo, son bastante visuales. Si las obras no son lo suficientemente llamativas, son capaces de pasar de largo de una sala a otra. Me gusta observar esa clase de detalles, es una clase de deleite secreto que tengo jaja En cambio, cada vez que ingreso a una sala del Museo, estoy a la expectativa con lo que pueda llegar a encontrarme; entro con la mente en blanco, a la espera que el artista al cual ha sido dedicado el espacio, me comunique a través de sus obras, quién fue.

Marcel Duchamp no sólo exploró diferentes métodos artísticos, como el cubismo y el realismo, sino que también adoptó una pasión por el ajedrez y hasta por la música. Me fascina los versátiles que pueden llegar a ser las personas cuando son inspiradas y la obra de Marcel, demuestra que durante toda su vida, estuvo dispuesto a transformarse, siendo el portafolio de sus obras, la huella que demuestra su amplio y esplendoroso camino como artista.

En las paredes de la sala se hallaban expuestos algunos bocetos, me imagino que de algunos de sus proyectos, así como unas frases del artista. La primera, menciona "Todavía soy una victima del ajedrez. Tiene toda la belleza del arte y mucho más. No puede ser comercializado. El ajedrez es más puro que el arte en su posición social"... Esto demuestra el impacto que aquel juego, dejó en Marcel. En la otra, "La belleza reside en la mente del espectador, no en el objeto en sí"... Y tiene razón, la sensibilidad que despierte en nosotros lo observado, es realmente que proviene de nuestro interior; como una especie de "conexión".

Sin duda, fue una exposición bastante fascinante. Al momento, quizás no me percato de algunas cosas al momento de estar en las salas de los museos y de las galerías. Siento esa energía, ese interés. Pero al estar en casa y ver de nuevos las fotografías, analizando la vida de quién las creó, voy comprendiendo mucho mejor porqué me sentía atraía desde un inicio. Es como unir las piezas de un rompecabezas. Es bastante divertido.
