, I showed you five interesting designs, and this time, I'll show you three more that I think are perfect for nature lovers and fans of the Good Omens series.

Okay, let's talk about the materials I used. The most important one is Kraft paper, which is a type of paper that comes in different thicknesses and is sometimes used for food packaging. My sister got this piece from a box with some products, which is why you can see the packaging's texture on the surface. For this project, I used all the paper I had left, just a tiny bit; of course, you can use cardstock if you don't have Kraft paper. I also used white acrylic paint and colored crayons; the rest was pure creativity, hehe ✨

🍁📚 DRIED LEAF 📚🍁

The first design I wanted to create was a dried leaf, very much in the autumnal style. I usually like to collect dried leaves between my books, and on several occasions, I've used them as bookmarks. But in that state, natural leaves become very brittle, so that task of marking our place in our reading is better left to a more durable leaf.

To do this, I found some photographs of dried leaves and made the drawing with a mechanical pencil. For coloring, I used colored pencils, starting with a little yellow and orange. It wasn't necessary to use a background layer, as kraft paper is perfect for achieving sepia tones.

For the details, I used brown and red, giving it a more delicate look than using a marker. Once it was finished, I cut it out, and the bookmark was ready. I loved it; it really looks like a natural leaf waiting to dry 🍁

🍄📚 FOREST MUSHROOM 📚🍄

I love mushrooms... at least aesthetically, haha, so I couldn't resist trying to make a bookmark with a mushroom drawing. In this case, I opted to apply a layer of white acrylic paint after drawing the mushroom on the paper. Once it was dry, I went over some details to guide me.

Next, I colored the mushroom caps with a red crayon, outlining them slightly with a ruby-colored crayon. For the stem, I used gray and black for the shadows and acrylic paint for some minor details.

After cutting it out, it was ready to use. I liked it so much, I kept this one for myself haha ​​🍄

😇📚 AZYRAPHALE AND CROWLEY 📚😈

Finally, I tried the "apple trend," which was a drawing challenge. The challenge involved drawing the silhouettes of two characters inside an apple. I decided to draw the protagonists of the series Good Omens because my sister is a huge fan, and ever since I started the bookmark project, I wanted to make her one of them. In fact, I made one in the previous samples that I really liked... but I wanted something more direct.

For the drawing, I spent a long time searching on Pinterest, and after seeing some fan art of the couple, I decided to create my own design. Once I was happy with the drawing, when it came to painting, I did the same thing I did with the mushroom bookmark: first, I applied a thin layer of white paint so I could see the drawing underneath, and then I colored it in with colored pencils. This time, I did use a fine-tip black marker for outlining.

I loved this design because you can use it as is or fold it. Needless to say, my sister was thrilled with it and it's the one she's currently using, haha. The rest I gave her are just backups, but I'm glad I made the most of that piece of paper. I hope these bookmarks inspire you, my dear readers, to make your own 😌

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad, amantes de las manualidades y del reciclaje! Este post se trata de la 2da y última parte de la serie de marca libros que creé utilizando un pedazo de papel Kraft que me dio mi hermana @maisugar para ese propósito. En el

, les mostré 5 interesantes diseños y en esta oportunidad, les mostraré 3 más que considero, son perfectos para amantes de la naturaleza y de la serie Good Omens.

Bien, hablemos sobre los materiales utilizados. El más importante, es el papel Kraft, el cual, es un tipo de papel que suele encontrarse en distintos grosores y que se utiliza en ocasiones para empaques de alimentos. Mi hermana obtuvo ese trozo de una caja con algunos productos, por eso se ve el relieve de los envases en la superficie. Para esta ocasión, usé todo lo que me quedaba del papel, apenas un trocito; por supuesto, pueden usar cartulina si no tienen éste tipo de papel. También utilicé pintura acrílica blanca y crayones de colores, el resto, fue pura creatividad jeje ✨

🍁📚 HOJA SECA 📚🍁

El primer diseño que quise hacer, fue el de una hoja seca, muy al estilo otoñal. Por lo general, me gusta disecar hojas entre los libros y en varias ocasiones, usaba las mismas de marca libros. Pero en ese estado, las hojas naturales se vuelven muy quebradizas, así que esa labor de marcar dónde nos quedamos en nuestra lectura, es mejor para una hoja más resistente.

Para ello, busqué algunas fotografías de hojas secas e hice el dibujo con un portaminas. Para colorear, utilicé crayones de madera, comenzando con un poco de amarillo y naranja. No fue necesario utilizar una capa de fondo, ya que el papel Kraft es perfecto para cuando se quieren obtener tonalidades sepia.

Para los detalles, utilicé los colores marrón y rojo, dándole un aspecto más delicado que utilizando el marcador. Una vez que estuvo terminado, lo recorté y el marca libro estuvo listo. Me encantó, realmente parece una hoja natural a la espera de secarse 🍁

🍄📚 HONGO DEL BOSQUE 📚🍄

Soy amante de los hongos... al menos de forma estética jaja así que no me podía quedar sin intentar hacer un marca libro con el dibujo de un hongo. En éste caso, si opté por colocar una capa de pintura acrílica blanca, una vez que hice el dibujo del hongo en el papel. Una vez que estuvo seca, procedí a rehacer algunos detalles para guiarme.

Después, pinté la capucha de los hongos con con crayón rojo, delineando un poco con otro crayón de color rubí. Para la parte del tallo, utilicé gris y negro para las sombras y pintura acrílica para unos mínimos detalles.

Tras recortarlo, estuvo listo para su uso. Me gustó tanto, que éste si me lo quedé para mí jaja 🍄

😇📚 AZYRAPHALE Y CROWLEY 📚😈

Para finalizar, traté de hacer el "trend de la manzana", el cual se trataba de una dinámica de dibujo. Dicha dinámica trataba sobre dibujar la silueta de dos personajes en el interior de una manzana. Se me ocurrió dibujar a los protagonistas de la serie Good Omens, porque mi hermana es fanática y desde que inicié el proyecto de los marca libros, quería hacerle uno sobre ellos. De hecho, hice uno en las muestras anteriores que me gustó mucho... pero quería algo más directo.

Para el dibujo, estuve largo rato buscando en Pinterest y tras ver algunos fanarts del la pareja, me atreví a crear un diseño propio. Una vez que estuve satisfecha con el dibujo, a la hora de pintar, hice lo mismo que con el marca libro del hongo, colocando primero una capa delgada de pintura blanca, para poder ver el dibujo de abajo y luego, pinté con los crayones de madera. Esta vez, si utilicé el marcador punta fina de color negro para delinear.

Me fascinó éste diseño porque se puede usar de esa forma o doblándolo. Sobra decir que mi hermana quedó fascinada con él y es el que está usando actualmente jaja el resto que le di, son de respaldo, pero, me alegro de haber utilizado al máximo ese trozo de papel. Ojalá que estos marca libros los inspire a ustedes, mis queridos lectores, a hacer los suyos 😌
