Your Friend Joseph Emmanuel //My Introductory Post..

Hello every one my name is Joseph Emmanuel is an honor to be part of this family my greetings goes to everyone on this platform.
My sincere appreciation goes to my brother Favour Joseph who introduced me to Hive, and also not forgetting my coach @Ovey10 who through his classes and coaching gave me light and understanding about this platform.

I was born and grown up in the Western part of Africa Nigeria to be precise and in Nigeria a northern part called Adamawa state.
Adamawa is a place populated with the hausa’s and Fulani’s which pave me an advantage to speak Hausa language fluently.

I was born into the family of 5 children, four (4) boys and a girl and by privilege I happened to be the second (2nd) Child.

I love music so much which am about to share how the journey started💃🏼

I grew up listening to different king of music in the likes of folk music, highlife, makossa, reggea, worship, Afro etc. I remember when I was young my dad use to buy different music CD plate, we will listen and dance to it, I never new it was creating an impact in my mind.

My love for music started when the instrumentalist in my church packed from the home town we where to the village,🙂because I remember the family where they one in charge of the musical department in our church as of that time. So after leaving, no instrumentalist anymore to a point even singers are lacking my church had to pay and hire people yo come sing and play for us. Then my Elder brother decide to get a pianist coach and learn. Along the line he was doing well I started admiring him to a point he became a pro i now said let me use the opportunity and learn.

But facts to be told, I couldn’t learn because of over familiarity 🙆‍♂️ until the time he went to school and access to him anymore. No one to play the keyboard any more the mantle now fell on me.😀 That’s how I started going from seminar to seminar, concerts to concerts, wedding and all manner of events just to watch the instrumentalist and learn something from them. I remember I use to sleep in the church to rehearse every day. The dream came true when I later got friends who had same passion with me I remember very well my very good friend Emmanuel David we started together as of 2010-2012.

Just like a joke I became a pro not only as a pianist but also in playing the drum, bass guiter, acoustic guiter and also in singing. In 2014 we had a competition in the local government where I reside and guess what?🤔 I became the best pianist in that competition. Further more 2018 we had another competition I became the best bassist ✅

It didn’t stop there I was recommended by a friend who came from Benue state in my country. He recommended me to a church, when I came they saw my skills and decide to enroll me in school where I acquired my National Diploma Certificate. Not only that I minister in different programs and was invited in the different kind of events.

In conclusion, because there are much things to say but to save the pace, after my studies immediately I round up my program I got a job as a music coordinator in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria (FCT) where am currently doing what I know how to do the best (music).

Am so excited because it plays a vital impact in my life, if not how would I have known Hive? Thank you everyone once again, a big shout out to my coach @Ovey10 and also my brother Favour am glad to be part of this family.
