My first contribution to the Monomad challenge in 2026

First of all a happy new year and the best wishes for 2026, for all the contributors of the Black and white community , and the admins ofcourse .
Now then this is my contribution to the #monomad challenge.
Yesterday we had a new years visit from my daughter , son in law and granddaughter so i decided to bake a spice cake .
For those that don't know spice cake it's dark brown almost like a chocolate cake.
1 ) So i decided to take some photos of the cake on the cake plate

3 ) Yesterday after the snow the sun decided to show it self , giving me the oppertunity to make some snow photos of the street we live in.
4 )there was even for a short moment some blue sky with some white clouds.
5 )Unlike today when it is snowing most of the day , this image was taken with the klens against the double glassed window at 24mm .
5a ) While thise image was taken with a different camera and lens at 15mm and a high shutter speed to freeze the snowflakes, but you can also see the difference in view angle from 24mm and 15mm
6 )snow resting on the leaves of the laurel bush in the garden below us.
7 )The cat isn't that happy with the snow to cold to go on the balcony
