8 years of buzzing ! 🎂🎉🍻❤️

I am very poor at remembring dates. The situation is such that sometimes I forget my own birthday and many other important event. However, I never miss out on my on steemit #hive birthdays. Thanks to @hivebuzz for sending a reminder every year. This time too it reminded me of my glorious 8 years on #hive blockchain. What started as just another fling on other social media platform , has now transform into a second home to me. It is not alwsys easy to recall back date of joining this platform. But @arcange the man behind #hivebuzz always send a timely reminder to all the user about their joining date so that they enjoy their anniversary. It also remind all the important contribution the platform has made into different users life. It was only on 4th of October 8 years ago that I joined this very platform.

It is so strange to see myself covering the long journey of 2920 days in the English speaking verse. Getting past all the challenges, barriers to still stand on this beautiful platform. I always cherish being on this platform. It allows me a different peace of mind, infact at many occasion, it allows me to exhale all the frustration of life. When I joined, I never thought that I would ever stay so long here. But look at me now, staying alive 416 weeks facing the storm of ever changing digital world. The stay on #hive is more than my stint at #facebook. I have seen many ups and down on this platform, met some awesome individual, some still active and some gone, read some great posts and tried to match my content with the quality posts of others. I started alone on this journey, unsure where it will lead too, but people keep joining me and a caravan formed. We named it @indiaunited a community for like minded Indians.

I found this platform a good place to trasform an individual personality. In my 8 years, I learned to write, I learned to face the camera *(3speak / dtube) and above all, help me to enhance my photography skills. I personally experinced some changes in me. The platform has many motivation factor that kept me going. I never joined it for reward, as you may find in my #wallet I do not have enough balance to flaunt. But with whatever my efforts paid, I feel happy for it. I always made sure to stay active either by making my own content or by engaging on others post. Engagement is good way to bring yourself into the limelight. A sensible comment help us to get reward as well as recognition. This is my advice to all the user to engage to before diving deep into the monetary factor. Staying active is the key here and I have some figure to share.

I have no special milestone to share on my 8 years Birthday. But as day goes on since I joined, the platform prove to be a good support system during my tough days. While I exhale my stress by sharing content, in my difficult days, it proved to be a boon. It allows me certain level of financial freedom, When I left my job. It does help me to own my #laptop my #mobile and few other gadgets. Patience is the key and #hive is the greatest example to it. It has been a great experince so far, and I am looking forward to stay alive and active as much as possible. I think I can easily share mlre more birthday.🎂🎂
