Discovering Serenity at 10,000 Roses Café, Cordova

It was one of those days when my friend and I just wanted to unwind and spend some quiet time together. Living here in Lapu Lapu City gives us the advantage of being near some of the most beautiful places in Cebu, and one of them is the famous 10,000 Roses Café in Cordova. We have been hearing about this place for years, and since it was a nice afternoon with perfect weather, we decided to visit and see what the hype was all about.

We left home just before sunset and the ride going there was also quick and easy. The entrance fee was only 20 pesos which was very affordable. For such a popular tourist spot, that price is really worth it. The moment we entered, we were welcomed by the cool sea breeze and the relaxing sound of the waves nearby. The area is right next to the sea, giving visitors a clear view of the water and the city lights from afar.

At first glance, the place already looked peaceful and romantic. Even though it was almost nighttime, there were still many people around. Some were taking pictures while others were just sitting quietly with their friends or partners, enjoying the view. After finishing our drinks, we walked closer to the roses. The wind coming from the sea was a bit cold, but it made the experience even better. I also saw some kids running around happily while their parents watched. Couples were holding hands and taking selfies. A few groups of friends, were laughing and posing for photos. It was nice seeing everyone enjoying themselves in a place that felt so peaceful.

As the night grew darker, the entire area started to shine brighter. The roses looked even more stunning under the night sky. It felt like being inside a dream. We took more pictures before we decided to head home. Before leaving, we stood by the edge and looked out at the water one last time. The sound of the waves and the cool wind gave a comforting feeling that made it hard to leave.

That night, as we head to our car in the parking area to drove home, I couldn't help but looked back at the glowing roses from afar and thought about how nice it felt to spend time like that. No noise, no stress, just laughter and peace. It was definitely a night to remember and a place worth visiting again.
