While Working on a Property, Someone Crashed Into It

Yep, so I've been away the last several days working on a property we plan to sell. The property is vacant and needs a handful of things done before we list it.

I was working there late and decided to just stay there. I have never slept there before and it was the only night I will ever stay there.

CRASH!

I'm amazed at how little damage happened to the house considering a drunk driver randomly swung a hard right down the driveway (apparently not hard enough) and then smashed into the side of the house and practically rode up the side of the wall before crash onto the right side of the vehicle.

This happened in the dead of night, I was sleeping and woke to what felt like a bomb went off as I was literally on the other side of that wall.

Can't make this stuff up. Thankfully the damage isn't crazy bad and no one was hurt. Including thee drunk driver. EMTs checked her out and she was fine so the police slapped on the cuffs and put her in the back of a squad car.

Now I gotta see about her insurance paying for the repairs.
