Have you been to Maha Kumbh?

It would have been an honor to travel to Prayagraj and participate in the Maha Kumbh Mela but unfortunately, I do not think I will be able to attend it and it is almost over.
Millions have already attended it now and took a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam. Whether or not they believe it, many have attended it from outside India too. Thousands of Hindus from all over the world are still traveling to Prayagraj.
If we had planned months back, maybe we also could have attended but as a farmer, it is easier said than done. Anyone who knows about cattle and other farm chores will agree.
Many people from my state are also going to the Kumbh Mela which is special because it occurs once in 144 years. Some are traveling by train and some by private bus that are organized by tourism companies. It would take several days by bus to travel to Prayagraj.
Although I am not going, I do watch videos by people about their experiences while traveling and participating in the Maha Kumbh Mela. Several Kumbh Melas have occurred but this is the first time that it is getting such exposure globally and people are willing to travel and undergo difficulties to participate in it.

It is really incredible that the authorities have done and are doing a great job in organising this event when there were no prior facilities available. When people turn up in such large numbers, there are bound to be inconveniences and other such problems but thankfully the maha Kumbh area is safe. Also, it is commendable that some wealthy people are donating free food to all the visitors. Several dignitaries including foreign diplomats and the King of Bhutan have visited this glorious event.
