The Bull run and Hive L2

In the past few days, I have been quite engaged with the crypto markets and what is taking place and thinking about the best approach Hive could use to join the party taking the most out of it. I have also attended and listened to the town hall podcasts and the different opinions expressed by several Hive accounts quite involved in the ecosystem.

It is nice to see all the different projects joining the ecosystem and actions done by several Hiveans, but the truth is we desperately need the capacity to develop smart contracts to join the wave taking place in this new bull run. To me, the top priority at present time is the work @vsc.network is doing to launch the L2 with smart contract development capabilities as well as the BTC/Hive swap and ramp to bring big money into the Hive ecosystem. There is much news about how the ETF launch and Halving will push this bull run bringing financial institutions in which will lead to regular Joe joining the party through his/her regular bank services. But the truth is innovation in L2s is what is also leading this wave right now. You see new EVM L2s pumping every week and several new ones will join the party now that Polygon has launched their Chain Development Kit (CDK) which enables you to build your ZK-powered Layer 2 custom-fitted to your needs.

Yes, Hive as any other altcoin will raise its value due to the upcoming trend, but once we add the L2, new projects will be able to join and use both the free-transaction capabilities of our DPOS chain, as well as the community already here. Both are great assets for any new group wishing to launch a blockchain-related project and to me, this is the key point that should bring Hive to the next level.
