Hello everyone,

In the past, on my blog, I wrote about one of the books that I read that changed my mindset towards life and the problems that come with it.

The book's title is quite controversial, but the information is very insightful. I read the book and even listened to an audiobook on the book, because of how much I admire the book. What I will be sharing my thoughts on for today will be focused on a quote from the author, which is below:

"You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and an embarrassment to others." — Mark Manson.

The above quote simply suggests that you cannot be a top priority to everybody. To some, you are important, and to others, you may not be. Like I mentioned earlier, the book is based on priorities, so it is not surprising to come across such quotes. It is more like when Austin Butler spilled out the embarrassment is just an emotion that has not been explored. Go out right with the embarrassment when you want to explore something new.

Do not worry too much about how something might look, what they will say when you are chasing your dreams. It is obvious that there will be very people who cheer you on when working hard, but there will be people when there is a result.

The focus of fighting for one's life is surely something we all have to deal with as humans, but we have to know that priority is also an important focus. You cannot be distracted by multiple problems or issues that take up your time daily. Select what you choose to fight for and what you want to fight for. It is chaos out there, especially when dealing with life.

The author moves on to talk about the unchanging fact that we cannot expect to make a difference to everybody without being a joke to others. Obviously, if I wake up tomorrow saying I want to run a marathon, it is hard to stay it who would believe in me winning it or who will be at the finish line when I do. This is how it works: you barely see people who stick with you while going requires consistency. They say tough times do not last, but they do not tell you if people will stay with you during those tough times.

A unique about this quote that stuck with me is how being a joke to others or even an embarrassment can be quite freeing. You do not need to perform a lot under duress or worry about impressing other people who do not care or even give a shit. It is funny to say it, but a lot of people perform under the impression of others. Wanting to impress and seeking their approval. With this quote from Mark Manson, you have to worry about all these. Who cares, live life on your terms and not what others have to say to you or have to say.

Go read this book again, I will advise again.
