The Potter

---

The earth wakes up at the touch of the hand, Finding life in form. At the end of the day the wheel turns, In the land of sweaty potters.

Clay toys, lamps, pots, The degree of creation attached to it. A touch of color, a tie of art, Bonding of the heart to the soil.

Moonlight beside the wheel, Shram laughs in the name of Sandhya.About the potter's age,
The pain of clay body art.

Yet he knows that this is the way,
Life with soil. The earth was built by the hands of the potter, Life falls into his creation.

This poem highlights the creativity and hard work of the potter.

হাতের ছোঁয়ায় মাটি জাগে,
জীবন খুঁজে রূপের মাঝে।
চাকা ঘোরে দিনের শেষে,
ঘামে ভেজা কুমোরের দেশে।

মাটির খেলনা, প্রদীপ, পাত্র,
তাতে লেগে সৃষ্টির মাত্রা।
রঙের ছোঁয়া, শিল্পের বাঁধন,
মাটির সাথে হৃদয়ের বাঁধন।

চাঁদের আলো চাকার পাশে,
সন্ধ্যা নামে শ্রমের হাসে।
কুমোর গড়ে যুগের কথা,
মাটির শরীর শিল্পের ব্যথা।

তবু সে জানে, এটাই পথ,
মাটি দিয়ে জীবন গাথ।
কুমোরের হাতে পৃথিবী গড়ে,
তার সৃষ্টিতে জীবন পড়ে।

এই কবিতায় কুমোরের সৃজনশীলতা ও কঠোর পরিশ্রমকে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে।

My name is Md. Abdus Samad. I am a Bangladeshi. My district name is Meherpur and Thana Gangni. Union sixteen taka. My village name is Jugirgofa. Currently there are four people in my family. Especially we are two brothers of parents. I am the eldest son of the family. My educational qualification is I am an honors 4th year student of Bengali department.
