Hello .. !!
My dear Hive friends,
I am @samadbro08 from Bangladesh. Today is Friday , October 24/2025

Hi everyone, how are you? today I am taking about Splinterlands Web3 Play-to-Earn Card Game vs. Other Games. and discussion about this topics among you. I hope this information will be very useful to you.Let's get started.

There has been a big change in the gaming world these days. Where previously playing games was only for entertainment, now it is possible to earn money by playing games through Web3 technology. One of the most popular Web3 games in this regard is Splinterlands a Play-to-Earn NFT Card Game. Today, I will show you how Splinterlands is different from other regular (Web2) games.

Splinterlands is a Blockchain-based Card Battle Game, where players fight each other using their NFT cards. This game is connected to multiple networks including Hive Blockchain and WAX, Ethereum. Here, each card is an NFT, which you actually own. Again, if you want, you can sell, rent, or trade these cards with other players. However, the most attractive aspect of Splinterlands is the Play-to-Earn (P2E) opportunity. When you win battles, play tournaments, or complete daily missions, you will receive rewards in the form of SPS Tokens or DEC Tokens. And you can later sell these tokens on crypto exchanges and convert them into real money. However, in general Web2 games, no matter how much time you spend, there is no financial gain, but you often have to spend it on buying in-game items.

In the Splinterlands game, each card has its own power, level, and ability. If you want, you can upgrade these cards and create a strong team to defeat your opponent. But on the other hand, Web2 games often have this kind of customization, but you do not own the cards or items, which are only stored on the company's servers. However, the biggest difference in Splinterlands is True Digital Ownership. Which means that you store your cards, tokens, and in-game assets yourself in a blockchain wallet. And with this, if the developer closes your account in other games (such as Clash Royale, Hearthstone or Mobile Legends), all your collections may be lost. But in Splinterlands, your assets are completely under your control.

Currently, Splinterlands has a large global community. Here players can trade their cards, sell them on the hive-engine & Ahonex marketplaces, and discuss strategies on Discord or other forums. But other games usually don't have such open markets or trading opportunities. Here you can only play the game as a normal player and if you want to develop the game further, you only spend money, you don't earn anything here.
And so Splinterlands is not just a card game, it is a Web3 Game Economy, where there is an opportunity to earn money along with entertainment. For those who love playing games and at the same time want to earn real income from digital assets, Splinterlands can be a great opportunity. On the other hand, traditional Web2 games are good for entertainment but are limited in terms of ownership and economic profit. And so if you want to earn money with entertainment, start playing this game now. And so today I am ending my writing on this topic here, thank you everyone.
