My first Hive game: Genesis League Goals

I started playing Genesis League Goals a few weeks ago. This is the first Hive NFT game I am participating in.

First of all, this game has no free p2e part. I couldn't find a free p2e game like Gods Unchained or Clash of Moland on Hive, so I didn't push these games before, but I wanted to try one anyway. Since this is relatively new, I chose this one. It also played a role, it is a soccer game, although there is not much in the game that reminds of soccer.

Registration is relatively simple, as was the purchase of the starter package. I would like to note here that I have not come across many similar games that charge a registration fee. I don't attribute much good to this, I think it can only have a negative effect and the small income that comes from it is almost nothing compared to the opportunity that the developers throw away because of the registration fee.

Of course I bought the cheapest one.

$13 which includes 1 pack. (It was 34 HIVE a few weeks ago) I bought 1 more pack from 2nd market, too. Opening this up, it contained these cards. 5 cards / pack, also needed something what they call GLGSCOUT pass for boosting the chance to get Gold cards. It cost $0.06 so overall another $0.60

I still don't understand the difference between the Regular and Gold versions, anyway I only got Regular.

Because in order to be able to earn with the game, I must have some glx tokens in my account (staked). I have bought this before.

After setup a team, I tried the game. The beginnings:

I wasn't impressed with the prize. Less than half a glx token.

I managed to earn 108 GLX after playing over 100 matches. I lost more than half of my matches and I don't understand why. As I can see, everyone uses the same cards.

In general, there is no detailed beginners guide, faq, introduction of the game and especially of gameplay, at least I couldn't find it. The list of things I don't understand is almost endless, so after the initial 5-10 matches a day I barely play it anymore. In most cases the end is a clear defeat and I can't figure out why.

So this game is also shelved. Maybe later I will play with it more often, write about it, but in its current form it all seems like an incomprehensible chaos. Next to that, it's not really a soccer game, and I find it really boring.
