Enjoyable Gathering After Sunday Meeting

Good day, Hivers! It’s me again, @rufajane. In this blog, I’ll be sharing about our spontaneous gathering that took place right after our religious meeting. So, shall we begin?

It was Sunday, and as usual, we were on our way to worship. During the meeting, we discussed the topic of forgiveness and the importance of looking for the good in others. What a beautiful and practical topic, right? In today’s world, many people tend to have short tempers, which can make it difficult to forgive one another. But God is righteous in all His ways. He helps us maintain a clean conscience and continue showing love for one another by providing us with sound, Bible-based guidance to follow.

Honestly, when you truly enjoy a meeting—or any meaningful event—you don’t even notice how much time has passed. After the meeting, my family, along with some fellow believers (including a close family friend whose spouse is Korean—the one I always mention), decided to gather at another believer’s home. Since we’re currently on vacation and had some free time, we all agreed to the plan.

We prepared plenty of dishes and snacks, and our gathering began at 6:00 p.m. And of course, as part of Filipino tradition, we brought out the karaoke machine so everyone could sing their hearts out. There was a variety of songs some for the brokenhearted, some old classics, and some fun dance songs. Honestly, it was such an enjoyable evening. Sometimes I can’t help but feel so blessed to be surrounded by this kind of friendship. no toxicity, no gossip just pure love. It truly makes a difference when the people around you genuinely love God. You can really say that they’re doing their best to live by His standards.

Before we knew it, it was already 1:00 a.m.! We didn’t even notice the time because we were having so much fun. When we realized how late it was, we all started saying our goodbyes and headed home haha. And just like that, we accomplished so much in just a few hours. We encouraged one another to keep going, and most of all, we learned to focus more on the positive qualities of our fellow believers.
