"Stop Comparing iPhones to Budget Android Phones

The legendary iPhone and android debate is here once again. For some reason boys will always argue about this and we’ll never get to see a winner. I remember how I bragged to my friends back at SHS that I’ll never stoop so low to use an iPhone and if any of them ever saw me using an iPhone they should take it from me and throw it away.
Fast forward to 2025 and here I am using an iPhone. Truth be told, I’ve always been a Samsung lover and I’ll always be one. Not using an iPhone has never crossed my mind. I’ve never discarded the idea so all those comments were just for argument sake.
If you ask me one word that I’ll use to describe or defend an iPhone I’ll say is that they have a loyal fan base. They are so loyal to the iPhone name and this is what the apple company capitalises on to sell shit to them year in year out. One thing that I’ve noticed is that they have a wonderful ecosystem and the moment you get into the ecosystem thing with iPhone then you’re hooked. It’s a seemless system which makes your life easier around all your devices and honestly if you’ve ever used it, it’s among the best.
If you happen to have an Apple Watch, an iPad, a MacBook and an iPhone then say bye bye to ever seeing reason that there’s a better option than apple. For the ecosystem part I give it to them. Apart from that the iPhone doesn’t surpass top notch android phones in anything.
When it comes to battery we have 1000s of android devices which have better battery. We have 1000s of android phones which take better picture quality. We also have more features on an android phones than on iPhones as well.
I always tell my friends that every year apple picks an android features and then rename it as theirs. I recently read somewhere that on IOS 19 you’ll be able to see how long it’ll take your iPhone to charge. Really? This has been a feature that has been on a Samsung since the S2 or so. And in big 2025 apple is now going ti introduce it.
The other thing too is the dark mode which they recently introduced. This feature annoys me so much. The good lord knows that android phones have had this since the 80s and then apple suddenly introduces it and it’s a big deal.
I use an iPhone now but for me I’ll always be inclined to an android when it comes to the iPhone and android debate. To those who also say they used an android first before switching to an iPhone and they’ll always pick an iPhone over an android phone I have a message for you. Maybe you should stop using the tecno spark 2 and 3s and buy a better android phone which cost as much as the iPhone you’re holding. You might just see the difference.
