Moving My Travel Updates to Mastodon
2 comments
For a long time, Facebook was my main place to share travel photos and small updates from the road. Over the years, that slowly changed. I posted less, engaged less, and felt like I needed a space that fits better with how I want to share my journey today.

So I’m trying something new.
Why Mastodon?
Mastodon gives me more control over who sees my content and how it’s shared. Instead of broadcasting everything to a giant, noisy feed, I can focus on sharing my travel moments with people who actually choose to follow along.
From now on, I’ll be posting my travel photos on Mastodon, visible to my followers only. Alongside that, I’ll share the countries I’m currently in and the airports I pass through, so you can follow my route in a more personal and direct way.
What If You’re Not on Mastodon?
No problem. I’m also building my own Discord server as an alternative space to connect and share updates. Right now, it’s still in an alpha stage, but it’s coming together step by step. If you prefer Discord, stay tuned for more details soon.
