To My Younger Self: You Did Well

IndiaUnited Community’s topic this time is very interesting as always: "If You Could Talk to Your Younger Self?"
to get more details and share your story.
When I imagine that my younger version appears in front of me, honestly, I feel a bit scared because my younger self was quite dangerous and intense. I used to be very aggressive, short tempered, emotional, but also principled.
If I look at my journey from childhood till now, I feel very proud of myself. Yes, I must have made some mistakes, but there is nothing I deeply regret or feel sorry for so I dont think I would give any major advice to my younger self.

Some might say, "I would tell my younger self to stay calm and cool," but even that wouldnt be right because the truth is, at that time, being aggressive and emotional was necessary. Just like how playing with toys is important in childhood, I believe every stage of life has its own needs and timing.
When I sit with friends, we often talk about how different I used to be. And yes, there is a big difference between the old me and who I am now because with age and time, you gain experience. Time makes you stronger.
If today’s version of me existed 10 years ago, maybe I wouldnt have grown this much. I achieved what I did back then because of that aggressive and straightforward attitude. So, all those things were needed at that time.

ALHAMDULILLAH, I have managed to keep a perfect balance in life. I started my first job at the age of 25, and I think that was also the right decision. My family’s situation did not require me to work earlier, so I mostly traveled and explored the world and that built my confidence. Now, when I am very busy with work, I have no regrets, because I had my share of travel and freedom. Even now, I make sure to go on good monthly outings with family.
In short, if I ever get the chance to talk to my younger self, I would feel proud and simply say: "Keep it up!"
