City thrashed Chelsea

This is not EPL but Chelsea met the same fate. They lost to City 4-0 in the FA cup. It is a disappointing result for the team and the manager must be under immense pressure. They did not manage to score a single goal but were hammered by a superior City side.

The funny thing here is City beat them convincingly despite not having Haaland and De Bruyne in the pitch. Mahrez scored twice. He has been phenomenal for the team and he shows why he is one of the best strikers in the world. City must be happy with the performance which they want to bring to the league next week.

Chelsea is under all sorts of problems. The manager was sort of booed when the crown chanted the name of the previous manager. The fans are really frustrated. The buying decisions the team made last year has not bolstered the team performance. They must do something crazy this season to lift the morale and change the fate of the team. Not sure how though.
