From Poetry to Parenthood A Journey of Emotions and Responsibilities

Hello everyone,
How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.
I read a poem some time back which I myself wrote. I was going through my diary and I became emotional while reading it. I realized how life has changed for me. There was a time when I used to write poems. I used to follow my passion. I was the person who did not think about anything.
I was not worried about the future. I was not worried about what happened in the past. Everything I used to do was only to make myself feel good.
But now I am a father of a three year old and I feel many responsibilities on my shoulders. While this is a beautiful feeling and I want to live it fully, I also want to say that it is not easy. I am not talking only about the financial side.
You do face some financial struggles, but the bigger struggle is mental because you have to connect with someone who is only one or two years old.
You have to come down to their mental level, listen to them and teach them. It is your responsibility to make them a good human so that the country, the family and the entire world will not look at them as a bad asset. So I think it is a big responsibility.
I am also worried to see how this generation is getting diverted by politicians and people who spread false news about each other. This is very toxic for the entire generation. The upcoming generation is going to suffer a lot.
The current generation, the students who are in school and who are being fed with this information, are going to struggle for sure. I hope that as parents we will take the responsibility of guiding them towards the right path so that they do not fall into these traps.
I was looking at data where the current ruling party has more than ten times the money of the opposition party. I do not know how we are supposed to believe that this is a level playing field for both political parties in India. And why no one questions the ruling party about how they collected so much money in only a few years of their ruling period.
Anyway, I am not here to say anything against or in support of any political party. I know that when it comes to development, all of them are more or less the same.
But right now, the main thing I am worried about is how the children will be in the coming years, especially in the era of social media where hatred is found just an inch away. What do you think India will look like in the next 20 years?
If we continue in the same direction, I think it will take us to a point where India may not seem as beautiful as it is now or as it was before. I feel very sad while writing this because I am Indian and I love my country. But this is something that definitely cannot be ignored.
