A special breakfast/ Un desayuno especial

Today I made the decision to resume my exercises that I usually did, but due to a pause from illness that has kept me for more than 15 days without moving a muscle as physical activity, I resumed this morning, in fact, feeling somewhat fresh, around five thirty, perhaps related to the arrival of autumn. At the end of a short session, since I need to readapt my body to physical activity, I felt somewhat exhausted. I also remembered the run I had to make to catch the train—"remember"? At times, when our usual physical activity decreases, and then we pick it up again, it feels as if the whole universe is falling on us because the body has to start adjusting to that activity that was stopped without planning, without prior notice, without lowering the intensity when it was at a fairly high physical demand level.
Concluding so as not to stray from the idea of this post. After finishing the exercises, I took my usual cold shower, and I think this time I felt hungrier than usual; it was a voracious appetite that made me think of something special and different to appease that inner enemy that at times awakens desperately within us. I went to the kitchen and was surprised to find that there was no bread, which made me very angry with myself because we almost always buy bread at home to save for breakfast the next day, which was not the case, or maybe there was no bread at the bakery the day before. Anyway, I didn’t bother to find out. Then my wife appeared, looking like she had just gotten up, a little puffed up like a balloon, and when I asked what was going on, I told her. As always, a woman’s help is always appreciated on any occasion, and she gave me a magnificent idea, which I will leave for you to comment on or vote on in photos.

I will just tell you that not only was their idea wonderful, but they also brought to life the gourmet design and assembly process after I did the preparation. That’s why I consider it a special breakfast. We both enjoyed it very much.
