Exploring Recent Sales On PeakMonsters

Some recent trades for cards can be seen below. Screenshots 1,2,3,4,5, and 8 have been taken from PeakMonsters (linked below). An individual card sold for $89. Another individual card for $40 USD. A third trade or $12.067 USD. Plus a two card purchase for near $100 USD. There's plenty of sales going on within Splinterlands. Those are just the ones I screenshoted for the purpose of this post. As I stroll into the EXPLORE feature on PeakMonsters and view the latest market trades I get a hankering to do some purchasing myself. Lets do that now using Credits. But how shall we purchase our Credits? Paypal or HBD? Other options for purchasing credits are available.

Intermission

Poker Update: Busted the $3.00 I won previously. Played in my second real money tournament. Was top 10% in chip holdings. I ended in an all-in pot with someone who had me covered. I had AK and them AQ. Flop comes with a Q on it. Turn and river was of no help and I'm sent to the rails. Played a sit n go with a free ticket I had. Made it to the final table but busted my short stack when I went all in with AQ vs. the buttons KK. So far all my exits from tournaments or sit-n-go's haven't come because of bad play on my part. This is a good sign that I'm not too rusty. It's still early and I haven't made any deep runs yet so I'll keep reassess as I play. I do have tournament tickets and upcoming games. I'll update within my regular posting schedule. I have not made any deposits (Bankroll $0)

Trading For Credits On Splinterlands

Minimum cost when using paypal is $10 USD for 10,000 credits. If you use cryptocurrency minimum trade is $1.00 worth of your cryptocurrency of choice for 1,000 credits. Take note of the two screenshots below. The first one shows a $10.00 credit purchase. The second shows us testing the $1.00 purchase point. After doing so our 1000 credits showed in our account instantly. If you use the same method as us and don't see your credits updating try refreshing your page.

Lets Go Shopping

Now lets spend those credits. As we said in our previous posts we are back to playing ranked play. Not just any ranked play but Foundation. On top of that we want to start collecting Foundation assets. So lets take these newly attained credits and purchase some foundation packs and then open them. We decided to purchase five packs for the total trade value of 503 Credits. If we used DEC the total cost would have been roughly 883 DEC. The DEC cost will fluctuate with DEC market conditions. The higher in USD DEC is worth on secondary markets the more valuable it is within the game when making certain purchases. The Splinterlands company always accepts DEC at the rate o $1/1000 DEC. The SHOP market Foundation set is a player to player trade market. Meaning when you purchase Foundation packs in this section you are purchasing from other players. After purchasing the five packs I opened all five. All were the standard one rare and four commons with one summoner (now called Archons). Which is just fine with us. We will try our Pack luck again in the near future at some point. For now we got some ranked battles to get to. The pack with the highest USD worth of contents we opened was valued at $0.14.
