RUNVESTASI 2025

Hi hive runners, how are your workouts going these days?
My workouts are really tough right now because I've gained weight, haha.
Plus, my work schedule has gotten busier and busier, and on top of that, I have to take care of moving stuff to my new house at night, so I haven't been able to do any sports, gym, running, or even just working out with friends. So I started over from scratch with my running training. At first, I didn't run right away; I walked several kilometers. But the result was the same—I felt like I was out of breath. So by the end of October, I started training again and signed up for the Runvestasi challenge.
This event is actually a virtual run where participants can run anywhere, but the organizing company held a flag-off ceremony to kick off the event. On November 2nd, the flag-off ceremony finally took place. There weren’t too many participants, but it was very memorable. Maybe around 100 participants?
At this event, we will run a distance of 7km.

Ah, before that, I changed my clothes first, because we got clothes from this event and I also did a photo booth. Since I came alone, I did it by myself. After that, I did the warm-up and we started running.
Don't forget to take the balloons provided; this run was really fun. And I followed pacer 9 because I wanted to run at a relaxed pace.

My first pace was 9:25/km. Since it was Sunday and there was a car-free day, many people were also exercising. It turned out that my Strava was paused at km 2, and I only realized it when I was already at km 4. Fortunately, I also turned on my smartwatch, so my data was recorded.

While enjoying the view of Jakarta’s tall buildings and the clear blue sky, I completed my run with a total of 7 km. My average pace was 9:30/km.

After we finished, we had refreshments and enjoyed the music. As the weather was getting hot, I decided to go home.
And I went back to rest.
