FIRST RUNNING IN JANUARY

Hii, hive running. How are you doing? How many kilometers have you run in January 2025? I seem to have fallen behind again this time. After experiencing illness last Christmas until the new year, just today I ran again, the feeling was heavier, because when I was sick yesterday, even to walk took a lot of energy, because it was easy to get tired. But when I got better, I tried to walk longer. So that I could recover faster and it would be easier for me to run.
That night, after work, I went to the stadium where I usually run, it was still quiet because it was weekdays. It was more comfortable and calmer than usual. Before running, of course I warmed up first. So that I can avoid injury, because having an injury is terrible.
I know that there has been little progress so far, but at least I didn't give up and kept running in my free schedule. Consistently practicing, in between my other training schedules.
After more than two weeks of not running, my first pace was only 9:12. And could only finish my run for 3 kilometers. With an avg pace of 9:35/km. And moving time 29:00. My stomach felt queasy so I stopped at 3 km. And immediately took a break. Straightened my legs before cooling down.
This year, I hope I can do better, and can run further than my usual training menu.
I also need to improve my running form, and I think I need to add intervals to improve my running speed.
Because I haven't added intervals to my training menu for the past year. But some of my seniors will help me to do so. Hopefully, I'll be okay when I do it.
