Noble Words : Making zero sense !

Engaging with things that have no purpose, benefit, or inherent meaning can be unfulfilling and prevent us from pursuing goals that truly matter to us. In today's time we spent ample amount of hours on social media. The time spent doesn't get us anything. It is one such useless activity that many people loves to do. Useless activities and objects consume valuable time, mental energy, and financial resources that could be used for productive or enjoyable pursuits. Ro highlight this human phenomenon, Sanskrit have following lines to say ;
वृथा वृष्टिः समुद्रेषु वृथा तृप्तेषु भोजनात् |
वृथा दानं धनाढ्येशु वृथा दीपो दिवापि च ||

Vruthaa vrushtih samudreshu vruthaa trupteshu bhojaanaat |
Vruthaa daanam dhanaDheyeshu vruthaa deepo divaapi cha,
Vruthaa = futile, useless
Vrushtih = rainfall.
Samudreshu = over the Ocean.
Trupteshu = a satiated person.
Bhojanam = food.
Daanam = donation, charity.
DhanaaDheysu = a wealthy person.
Deepo = a lighted lamp.
Divaapi = diva + api
Diva = day time.
Api = even.
Cha = and.
i.e. It is useless to rain on the ocean and similarly it is useless to feed a person who has eaten his fill. It is also useless to give alms to a rich person and it is also useless to light a lamp during the day.
Feeding a satiated person, or filling water in ocean or giving alms to a wealthy is not going to affect their personal self. Rather these are pointless activity.
Eliminating these unnecessary things can create mental and physical space, improve focus, and foster a sense of control and peace in our life. Useless things should be avoided because they waste mental and physical energy, create a sense of being overwhelmed or stuck, and prevent the pursuit of more valuable or beneficial activities, ultimately hindering personal growth and peace of mind.
