Julley Everyone,

A beautiful day and a beautiful Morning here in the Himalayas, Seemed like waking up in a dream! Rest seemed like a dream in itself...

I would say what a lovely day it was. I still remember the days of my Hamta Pass Expedition, though on that expedition, there was a lot to say, there were a lot of stories that I would love to share it with you guys, and this one is one among that, so here we begin.

Day 2 of the Expedition.

It was the second day of our expedition, and when we pitched our tents yesterday as per the day of when we reached Chikka base camp, so it was a day prior to that when we reached the 10th and stayed at the night that I have shared in my previous post, so this is a follow-up post about that so it was really a wonderful morning guys waking up to a dream as the title suggests, so it was really a wonderful morning guys, and we decided to hike up through the Ancient Hamta Pass Trail.

Which led to the way to the Hamta Pass and Balu ka Gera, which would cross and cover up the two valleys through the middle of the valley, we have to make away and cross the valley.

So here we were when we begin our expedition for today, It was around 8 AM when we reached space so we started our hike at 8 AM and this spot this particular spot. I think I capture this photograph around 10 AM and it has been more than three hours of us, continuous hiking from the bass camp, and the view from this moment, looked something like this, so Right in front of us, and right behind us was just frozen, dry glacier with no ice and very less water, and it was a vast open ground and just behind that was my Base camp, so the bass camp of the expedition where we start and kept our belongings over there rather carrying it with us, so it would be a hassle for us to just carry around more than 30 kgs into our back, so it would be a hassle for us, so we decided to pitch tent over there.

Spend a night over there and it was another day. The sky was totally clear and it was the time before the fall, there was no snowfall at that time so the whole place it was quite dry and everything looks so fantastic, so I thought why not explore the valley and go to various smaller valleys of the same valley and capture its beauty and even explore that what is beyond that and where is the trail which the Asian locals used to call it the stairway to the heaven.

The Frozen River

We begin walking by the frozen glacier river and make our distance and make our way out of the place and the view looked something like this. It was really a dreamy view and it was really a dreamy place guys, so I don’t think that many travellers and many hikers, you often used to come to this place as they used to hike the Hamta Pass, but this particular spot was kind of hidden, so it was really a wonderful moment guys and wonderful experience for me to share the first 10 knowledge with you guys and explore and explain each and everything that I realised and that I experience through this post

The frozen glacier river, which at this moment was not that frozen because of the climatic condition, though the climate was quite clear. Today the weather was quite clear. The temperature was around 0°C to 10°C in the afternoon and the water was kind of not that frozen and it was a deep patch.

I would say which was not that much safe to go closer to as nobody knows about the depth of this river, as there might be few places which would be deep enough, and even these rocks under these rocks bears Usually find a shelter under these rocks, so I don’t think that it was a good idea to go closer to the river, so we decided to just walk by the side of the river and explore the valley and see that Way the Trail, the Ancient Trail that the ancient nomads used to Hike to cover the distance between kullu Valley and Lahul Spiti Valley.

It was kind of difficult for us to make a way through these rocks as few of them were quite huge, and we would need to do a sort of rock climbing over these rocks and make away through the whole journey, so it was kind of fun to, but it was really a wonderful experience guys and the air at this place. It was really magical.

It was really really fresh as fresh as I don’t think anyone would get as it was really the pure form of air and the pure form of atmosphere that I still remember, and it was really a wonderful experience guys right now we were at an altitude of more than 4200 which was more than 15,000 feet above the sea level and we were making a way through the Asian tree. There was the few sites of Trail that the ancient is used as the main pathway to cover up the distance. The ancient times I would call more than 200 to 300 years and even more before Than that that people even consider this pathway to the stairway to the heaven. So here we were wondering and we were looking back and each and every time the view was just changing.

The unnamed Peaks.

https://images.hive.blog/DQmR8qPvhpcKnwz6G6Tu8Mu6Ab5GABNdVZvoirUAovnMyrZ/IMG_1723.jpeg
The mountains were just popping out of nowhere. The mountain range is everything was just a magic and here we were wondering and hiking, and there were new mountain Summits new mountain peaks coming right in front of us out of nowhere and we had that thing that we wanted to climb all of them, but it was not that possible for us to do so, as we just had few days of this expedition, we would be going back to our places, our hometown as we had the limited supply, the Limited, food, and medical supplies.

https://images.hive.blog/DQmU5oGE6MySPdsEKYZwWtyzLZefH2sLfSEKpJogjrFPXWs/IMG_1725.jpeg
So we made away, we made many decisions and we made many stories and memories. So here we decided to just go little up to the mountain which was right in front of us, and so that we could approach the summit of any mountain cliff that was seen right in front of us and make a way through the ancient stairway to the heaven Which is called by the locals, so it had been more than two hours of hiking continuously from the place where we started and we reached this spot and it was really a wonderful spot.

https://images.hive.blog/DQmXuynNjg1mt8fU8tUNLfeTdoVy9MbBdbKNn2ZmQTAgLv3/IMG_1730.jpegWe were quite closer to the summit of the peak and the summit seemed like a big rock. We were not carrying a rock climbing essentials, rock climbing gear, so which we thought would be a difficult task for us to do, but rather, we pointed out to just go beyond the trail and explore that way as we could go, so we made away made under the rocks through the rocks and by the side of the rock, so it was really a wonderful experience guys and wonderful moment guys that I wanted to share it with you through this post.

After walking for a while, we came across these big big mountain, cliff and over which was the huge forest to not that huge, but they were few trees, and it was quite huge. I would say as per the geography that display had, and it was just a huge rock a good rock for the rock climbing enthusiast. I would say, but usually this place is covered under thick of snow which the snow lasts for more than six months and this whole place is covered for more than Six months and the snow is more than 20 feet 10 to 20 feet.

https://images.hive.blog/DQmS64oWhrQECPsZiMnAV5B6RTFNfPNmyzBf8Ajqq8ZMbY1/IMG_1731.jpeg
It was just a perfect time that this place has not got the snow till now as per the date when I visited this mountain and it was quite dry, so it was a perfect moment for us to explore this valley and see this valley as dry as we could see and make a way through the valley and explore the Asian trails, the ancient hidden valleys and ancient places which were not forgotten by the local, so the locals more focused on the places that had better ski places where they could ski, but they forgot it the ancient roots Covered the two valleys. The two main places of the whole Himalayas of Pir Panjal Range, so it was just a dream for me to wonder this valley and finally the dream came true.

Swarag Ka Rasta

The Stairway to heaven.

When we were this magical Valley and it was our second day, so I don’t know what to call to this place, and so I would be calling this place beyond the Joby campsite and beyond the Chikka campsite, it was just around four hours away from Chik Campsite and calling it just four hours away from Chikka campsite.

https://images.hive.blog/DQmegQnBhfQMjRXWn62gMZ9m2bQr7SCMeaUQjptMzawc7ms/IMG_1735.jpeg
I think it would be a better title that this place would head, otherwise it would be nearly very difficult for other climbers and other people who are willing to visit this place to just remember that where I was at the moment so it was a wonderful moment guys, wonderful experience guys I wanted to share it with you guys, and there was slight steps that I recognised as in the pictures that I have shared as especially in the last last pictures

https://images.hive.blog/DQmPZHn9vuUwfNSm8JDshtiMiMEUnYbwYE4ykqCydDATNpB/IMG_1734.jpeg
So there was this stairway a sort of stairway that led to the heaven. Not sure about the heaven, but it was truly a heaven in itself. So don’t know about the other heaven, but the place itself was heaven in itself so it was really a wonderful experience guys, wonderful guys enjoyed hiking and enjoyed sharing it with you guys through this post, and I would love to share the stories that were beyond this expedition to in the upcoming post, So thats all for today guys. I hope you liked it.

Thanks for your precious time. 🙏
Love from the Himalayas. ❤️
